SVG is a really good fit to develop a young team like the Pelicans. They're not going to be competing for a championship in the next few seasons, and I'm assuming he probably knows that.

Think Stan’s been the best color analyst of my lifetime. No one helped me feel more connected to the game that I’m watching.

SVG should've stuck with being an analyst.

Nah. Whenever anyone offers you a minimum of $15 million, you take it.

Stan now needs to go out and get Brook Lopez to man the middle.

It's a trap! Giannis will miss him & goto the Pelicans in order to become the Smoothie King. Showing up AD as the man who got in done in NO.

Might as well kick the tires to see if we can take advantage of Stan - offer Bledsoe for Ball and Darius Miller (filler).

I'll echo the svg as commentator love. He was excellent and insightful. Really delved into scheme and philosophy without the needless "he just bullied him" type of annoyance.

Sad to admit that the Bucks as an Org are below amateur. The only thing that maybe we can be proud about is Suki and the Fiserv Stadium (that as I remember alot of the money were from Milwaukee's Public Tax Money , something like that. Giannis was send from the Basketball Gods to Mil. We were bad and eventually wanted to tank so hard as many other teams to get either Jabari or Wiggins . Therefore Giannis got palying time minutes even as a rookie and was able to develop and try even harder. I bet if he was drafted by a team like Houston, Giannis wouldn't be the same player he is now. The problem starts from the ownership status and not actually believing we can win it all this last 2 seasons. They should have believed in Giannis and hire the best GM out there and give the order to pair Giannis with a true Superstar no matter the cost.

And to sum it up i read a Twit yesterday that we could have applied to wipe off Jon Leuer from April and we haven't even applied. Like why adding reasons for Giannis to actually think the Org is that trash?
Draft picks: '15 Jerian Grant, '16 Thon Maker, '17 Isaiah Hartenstein/*John Collins, '18 TD Devonte Graham, Hamidou Diallo, '20 Sam Merrill, Killian Tillie, '21 Joe Wieskamp, '22 TU C.Braun/G.Procida '23 Tristan Vukcevic/Maxwell Lewis

I think I would enjoy a long, leisurely lunch with SVG and JVG, listening to them argue over which of far too many mezze is the most delightful. Perhaps by the water, at a BYO place with each of the brothers bringing a couple of bottles of wine each for them to argue over as well.

For me it's him, Walton, Hubie and Kerr. That's it.

25 games is the cut off. Deng only played 22. So it's definitely possible the league approves the request

Isn't that limit for if a guy comes back *after* this process has been completed? That's what the CBA says.

He's a lot like a young Hubie.

Walton is just on a different plane. He's a sharp analyst but he's a great announcer as much for his wild worldly asides as for anything directly related to basketball. Nobody's more entertaining but he's also more of a sideshow than he is an integral part of the main stage. If I'm watching a random PAC 12 game, Walton better be calling it, but if I'm watching a NBA game, particularly one with significant stakes, give me Stan--Walton would be a distraction.

I'm surprised the owners would give consideration to the Olympics, you'd think if anything it would be good excuse to get their stars to not play. Wonder if there are any foreign players that would sit out to go play for their national teams that is forcing their hands.
