We have a pulse alright, BUT Spoelstra is already cooking a new poison for this Khris Team.

Obviously great game from Khris. I thought Bled was pretty great tonight as well, but he really needs to just go full Giannis if his jumper isnt going. He can get what he wants on these guards, but settles for way too many pullup 3's.

Never play Pat again this series now that DDV has shown some life. He is just getting eaten alive by whoever he is guarding and he can't hit a shot to save his lift right now after being initially hot in the bubble.

Keeping Khris off of Butler is a major key. Wes does a great job of playing him without fouling, but Khris really struggles. Neither Jimmy or Khris can guard each other.

I believe the return of Bledsoe to the starting lineup was the most irritating thing for George Hill and probably affected Donte too. Bledsoe didn't deserve the minutes and the possessions he got , thats on him and Bud of course. G.Hill led the NBA at 3P% and on this streaky year we bench him for worst possible PG fit for Giannis.
We lost Brogdon for keeping Bled and we completely messed up G.Hill rythm and confidence too

Imagine how good the other guys could be if Giannis was willing to drag the Heat's two best defenders away from the ball on a regular basis instead of going for his regardless of how many guys are set and how far from the basket he is.

He was really good today when he played though. Saved them when they would have fallen WAY behind early. Just mix that in with what everyone else is capable of contributing and we'd all forget this bubble **** fast.

Miami is not very good. I continue to firmly believe that. Bucks have totally sabotaged themselves in this series.

That’s on Bud not Giannis

I think it is on Giannis. I think his MVP award messed his head. He didn't shoot this many 3 pointers before. He didn't force this much before. He played more team basketball before. But after he got MVP award its like he feel he need to play like Lebron or Kobe.

I saw him being upset if he doesn't get ball early. I saw him making stupid decisions trying to be hero when he does things he shouldn't do. No way any coach wants that. I do not think that he is selfish by nature. But MVP award and "team Giannis" stuff destroyed his attitude. He should be role player at offense because he cant shoot and refs don't forgive off fouls anymore (like they did to Shaq). But there is no coach who could force him to be role player now. Not with MVP award and "team Giannis" stuff. And not in Milwaukee where everybody are so afraid that he could leave if he is not 100% happy.

Last night he was good in first quarter because he slowed down a little bit. In penetrations I mean. That way he was able to avoid offensive fouls. That was smart thing to do because he goes too fast most of the time. But we lost that 1st quarter 22-31 because other players just stood around and did nothing. They started to play only when he left. If he didn't left he would keep scoring until 4th quarter. Then they would double team him and other players would be cold and we would lose. No doubt about that.

people, no need to create strawmen. Nobody is trying to say Giannis is a burden or needs to stand in the corner.
All he needs to do is go back to not trying to be something that he's not. Shooter and creator off triple teams he is not.

Nate Duncan also mentioned Giannis' playmaking and passing was better in his minutes because he was slowed down (because of the injury). Very interesting.

But this is what we highlight. We defend Giannis by saying that in the Best League of the World, teams shouldn't be "allowed" to triple team a player... We probably have the worst backcourt roster in the NBA and one of the worst in game coaches and the opponents get away with it.

I do not disagree. $115 per year is egregious. Genuinely curious if anyone is gonna pay up.

Basketball content fiends like me still listen in, but adios to paid content.

It's not the best league in the world, it is the league with the best players in the world, it's not the same thing.
These are the rules the game is played in the NBA and they are the same for everybody, not gonna change for Giannis.
And the backcourt is far from the worst in the NBA.

Got my doubts about the coach right now, I'll give you that...

No, we win game 6 without him and he enters game 7 with 4 seconds on the clock and the game tied to shoot FTs, he bricks both and fouls Butler on a desperation 3p attempt under Heat's basket

You're not one of the, "Giannis got exposed by Fiba" dudes, are you? The General Board has been entertaining with their hot Giannis takes and that's a popular on.

The set drawn for Tyler Herro's 3-point hit that brings the score to 116-115 is the summary of the series.

Spoelstra is a very smart man. The remaining game or games will be tough

Before I read one comment I’m gonna make my comment: THAT WAS EFFING AWESOME!$! And my more detailed take is: Well first of all that was the best game I’ve ever watched in my sports viewing “career”. I was screaming in my garage during crunch time, and almost crying!$! Actually I did cry. Not gonna lie. Midds was THE MAN. Butler used to pwn him and now he turned the tables. He was a leader. He was a stone cold killer. And that sick crossover before draining that 3 over Herro (who also is a stone cold killer btw) was like something I never thought he could do. He was defending like MJ and diving on the floor. Just an insane effort. Absolutely insane. I think he’s arrived, finally. A+

Bledsoe was a dog. That jumper that rattled in from the top of the college key was YUGE. He played like a beast and wasn’t scared, and he played under control. B+

DDV got his mojo back, finally. Hitting that second FT after bricking the first to tie the game was big time, baby. He’s back. A-

Brook stepped up as well, and I’ve never laughed and cheered as much as when he drew that foul on that ridiculous turnaround J. That **** was ridiculous! Haha. Those corner 3’s he hit were HUGE, as well as some solid post play. B+

Hill stepped up big, controlled the tempo, played smart, and hit some clutch shots. Solid. B+

And finally, my take on Giannis: he came out pissed. He was a leader with his “energy and effort.” That reaction after that dunk set the tone. That block on Duncan’s 3 was insane. He’s done effing around. He will be back on Tuesday there’s no way he sits. Honestly that ankle tweak was a blessing in disguise because everyone else remembered how well they play when they play together, and Giannis remembers how the team is supposed to play after watching his boys take care of business. I expect to see Giannis defer and play smarter and more in control when he comes back, and I expect the entire team to play like they did before the shutdown. I think they’re back. I think they win the series. I think they win the next series. And I think they take the Clippers to 7: not sure who wins it all. This was the most important game I’ve ever seen them play, and MIDDS is the main reason that they came out on top.

Maybe I’m wrong and they’ll just lose the next game and I’ll eat crow. But I think we are the better team, and I think we win game 5 by 12ish. FEAR THE DEER MUTHASUCKAS!$!
