Gotta fill the roster somehow, this is fine.

Why? He’s not a good shooter, brutally over rated defender, he jumps high, shows us that every chance he gets, slow footed, stays in front of nobody

I like Pat and am glad to have a little more continuity. Considering our current constraints, higher than ideal cost. I do think he's earned it, though.

Was hoping we would move on from Pat and give that spot to find the next pat (young player that surprises and turns into a good role player for cheap).
still learning the game

We still have the MLE and BAE so it’s not bad...

Fine with this. We still need depth and we don't have to use the MLE here. Why not have it be an athletic defender that knows the system.

I have no problems with it minus the player option, but whatever.

Even with the Pat signing, we should still be able to squeeze in under the hard cap if we use the MLE and BAE

Sure but we still needed some players to fill the roster and for that money?

Its not like he is DJ who is completely unplayable.

It is weird how bad of a shooter Pat is for how good of one he was in college.

And also, if you let everybody walk and want to make a trade, you've got no salary to make anything work.

People don't want to hear this but this is indicating no Bogdan. Would significantly cut into our MLE if we went for him.

Please, for the love of God, can we get a GM who DOESN'T GIVE OUT PLAYER'S OPTIONS LIKE CANDY? Middleton is one thing. Every other scrub who comes through is another.

Also remember that contracts signed this offseason are tradeable much faster than normal.

Signing Pat is fine. Worst case it's a salary slot that can be used in a trade later.
