Last year at the deadline I would’ve easily swapped Ersan or DJ for Niang, so I’ll take it.

I think Niang is as good a comp as I've seen, although Nwora seems to be a much better rebounder. Niang was a more versatile and consistent scorer in college.

OK, that shooting is legit impressive on high volume. And he shot over 80% from FT which is often a better indicator of NBA success as a shooter. At 45 I don't know how you can be too mad with this pick.

I think he compares favorably to Steven- the tall-ish kid that I played basketball with back in 8th grade. He hoisted up threes but didn't do much else

Nwora seems to be an odd combination of skills. He competes well on the glass, but is very much a finesse player/shooter on the offensive end. Doesn't get to the line. I can't picture him being able to guard NBA small forwards. However, if he can hold up as a small-ball 4 who can shoot, I think the value is good. alsoI think the ceiling is very low.

Hoping for Jones, and would rather have Riller or either Cassius.

If the guy can play 10-15 minutes a game for the duration of his rookie deal it’s a fine pick.

I had Jordan Nwora on my like list predraft.
The notes I had for him was that he is a really good 3pt shooter, he rebounds the ball but he can't penetrate and create for others.

I think he is Ersan's replacement.
My draft picks: '15 Jerian Grant, '16 Thon Maker, '17 Isaiah Hartenstein/Semi Ojeleye/*John Collins, '18 Trade down Devonte Graham/Elie Okobo, Hamidou Diallo, a 2nd for Kostas, '20 Sam Merrill, Killian Tillie

I like both cats for where they were picked. Potential snipes without hesitation, and were focal points for pretty solid programs. Hope that they translate to contributors. It's a much better situation than previous picks. I think Miami really influenced these selections.

I would not be shocked to see him make an instant impact offensively, solid BBIQ it seems like too. Length/athleticism give some solid tools to be a not horrible NBA defender eventually.

Honestly, that dude flipped a switch. I never thought it would be after the big contract, but part of me thinks having a kid really changed his dedication.

Great size. Great shooter. Athletic. Seems to be a good guy too. I really like the pick and hope he can work his way into the rotation.

Sort of moves like a taller, more athletic Brogdon. Lateral movement isn't awesome but he hustles.

I'm hoping Suki can work with him to bring his standing vert closer to what he can do with space to gather. There's one block in his highlights where he damn near hits his ear on the backboard, but when he's got the ball under the basket he can't seem to elevate at all. As it stands he theoretically should benefit from our pace, where he can either set up and let it fly, attack closeouts in a straight line, or trail for dunks with plenty of time to load that leap.
