One of the younger teams in the nation too, three seniors and most of the rest are freshmen and sophomores. Says a lot that he has them doing well in close games so far, probably a great coach to motivate a young team and calm any nerves they have.

Darryl Morsell is an all-hustle player who excels on defense. A very good athlete at maybe 6'5, he often defended PF's. So tough that he wanted to stay in the game after a Franz Wagner elbow dented his head (and broke facial bones that required surgery). I don't think he missed a game. Seemed like every point he scored was in a clutch situation. A high energy tough guy. I think he's already graduated from Maryland. He's a winner.

Great to see Morsell started out real well - though he's fallen off as the schedule got harder. You know you'll get defense from him even if his shot isn't there.

Question: Does anyone know why Marquette has been playing on the Fear the Deer floor and not a Marquette floor?

Bucks damaged the Marquette court somehow. That's about all that I've seen. Should have a replaced/repaired one ready to go sometime in December

Those Kansas State uniforms might be the worst I've ever seen. They used a one time NCAA exception to wear different colored shorts and tops. They should have saved it for something better

Ugly 1st half. UCLA just quicker and bigger. 1-15 on 3-PTs doesn't help....

Marquette game for Wednesday is cancelled for now until it can be rescheduled due to St John's getting covid. They could have used an easier one

Thought the commentary team did a good job. Just completely dominated almost the entire game.

She does better when she's not the home announcer and isn't expected to know everything about the team

Terrible call to end the game. But a good win nonetheless.
