Had a dream last night that he was leaving.
Also had a dream that there was a week left of high school and I needed to make up a semester's worth of homework in order to graduate. To make matters worse, I lost my Magic Chef's Hat.

Giannis had an injury scare in the Mavs game. I am hoping he realizes that it is best for him to sign the Supermax now.
Think of how I Thomas of the Celtics and DeMarcus Cousins cases. Injury ruined their money earning capabilities dramatically. Yes there is the different case of KD. But a player’s future is at potentially severe risk with a severe injury.
Giannis should realize that an injury could be moments away.

I have faith in Giannis, and I believe he knows that when he signs a supermax the bucks will grant him a trade request years down the road if they fail to win a championship.

I’d be happy with a 2+1. I’d be a little upset with a 1+1. I do t think the 5 year supermax is in play. Give me the 2+1 which gives us giannis for an additional 3 years and a contending team. I don’t know how Giannis game ages anyways. I’m sure he’s got 5 awesome years left in him, but his style and lack of shot has me thinking his lifespan is that of an nfl running back as far as being a top 5 player goes

It's not a hard set number because it depends on the situation. For it to be acceptable to me for Giannis to pull up for three early in the shot clock, I think he needs to be making them at about 37-38%.
League average TS% was 57% last season. Giannis had a 77 TS% at the rim on 14.3 attempts per game. When shooting 4+ feet from the rim, Giannis had a 41 TS% on 10.2 attempts per game. I see that as an issue.

Buffalo Bills fans do this with the owner's private jet every offseason to see if they think he's flying out to meet with a player personally, flying a player in to Buffalo to see the team facilities/sign, etc. It's usually a pretty good indicator with the free agents, though fans sometimes try to use the flight plans in relation to trade negotiations and that's almost always a waste of time.

As it was ordained by the football gods, Buffalo will finally get to host a playoff game but no fans allowed lol. Whatever, I'll take it.
I've actually been to the last two playoff games now and was obviously disappointed in the result both times; Wild Card Weekend is generally the weekend of both me and my mother's birthday and she's a gigantic Bills fan so we've tried to fly out wherever they're playing as a birthday gift to her. All she wants is to see the Bills win a playoff game with her family.
It's really incredible how well Allen has developed. I obsessively scout QBs and I loved Allen at Wyoming, but pretty much every Bills fan I know hated the pick at the time so it's been fun to see everyone come around on him.

Lets speak about Giannis is Westbrook a little bit...
Keep in mind that i do believe he was bad against the Heat.
Giannis postseason
First round against Magic
30 points 61% and 40% at 3s.
Miami
First game he only took 12 shots, Is this Westbrook ? 5 of them were 3s and he made 2 of them, he was 6/12 that game. No the problem was not his 3 pointers, the problem was that he couldn't find ways to score inside and his fts,
Game 2
29 points with 10/18 shooting and 0/1 3s, the problem that game was not his 3s or his fg% but the foul on Butler and if i remember well he missed important fts at the end. ( 9/13 fts)
Game 3
The only game someone can compare him with Westbrook.
21 points 7/21 and 0/7 3s with 9 assists and 3 turnovers, we lost by 15 points.
Game 4
Only played 11 minutes
19 points 8[10 and 1/1 3s
So i ask, why is he Westbrook?
Missing fts, fouling Butler and not helping at the end of the games yes but Westbrook? And i must be blind or bias not to see that because in one game he took 7 3s?
Miami games
Under 34% 3s
Wes 5/15
Khris 11/33
Hill 6/18
Bledsoe 3/14
Williams 2/10
Pat 1/7
Over
Korver 6/13
Lopez 12/28
Donte 5/13
Overall Bucks 3s without Giannis 51/151 33.7%
Miami 75/201 37.5%
The one game Giannis didnt play we shot our worst % on 3s, 9/33, 27%...
Thats the truth...

It's cool that the owners are flying in this evening to sign off on the Harden trade.
Should be an exciting day!

Bingo.
Antoine Walker shouldn’t have shot threes. Giannis is a comfortably worse shooter than Antoine Walker. Last year he shot them at a rate similar to Walker.
Giannis shooting a three should be worst case scenario for our offense. Giannis handling the ball at all outside the arc should be a solid Plan C.
To answer the original question, 35%.

Ready for Giannis to sign so we can get on to the next required step to win a championship: fire Bud. We all know that we’re not winning a championship with the “let it fly” lazy offense that Bud runs. We need a Spoelstra/Nurse/Stevens type coach. But that’ll be a discussion for another day

7 out of 10 players we used against Miami shot 34% and less tho, the overall % without Giannis was actually less than 34.

Giannis shooting in-rhythm 3s as a result of ball movement to generate an open shot, I'm fine with. Giannis dribbling down the court and shooting a pull-up 3 with 21 seconds on the clock should be a benchable offense (even if it goes in).
