That’s the Christian Wood experience. He is a black hole on offense. I know the media looks at the numbers and loves him, but he’s had this same problem for years now.

if Bucks were clever they would have signed him dirt cheap, let him boost his value with high usage and trade him for something else

am I a traitor for preferring watching Jokic's highlights rather than Giannis's?

As someone who's largely been saying Connaughton is worthless for two seasons, Sterling Brown was SO bad last year he made Connaughton look like he was better by a significant margin. I was in the "play Sterling over Pat" camp and every time he hit the court it was a disaster. How many fast breaks did he **** up by being Sterling Brown? All of them?

Sterling definitely struggled in every facet of offense last year but for the minimum, I’m taking him over Pat all day. He at least has a discernible, NBA level skill in his on ball defense and his rebounding. Seems to have lost a little more weight too. I don’t know, I think he is going to have a pretty solid year for them as long as his jumper falls at his freshman and sophomore season’s percentages.

Taking a guy over Pat is a pretty low bar to clear. Just "insert name here" and you take him over Pat at the deal we gave him. It doesn't matter who.

If I'm Toronto I'm exploring Siakam trades. Might be harsh but he's a fraud "star" imho.

Booker is 1-1 from the field and the Suns have a 147 off rating with 2 mins to go in the first half.

I'd think if they continue to struggle Masai will almost certainly get what he can for Kyle Lowry. Other than that, they're kind of in a tough spot.

Can't believe Haliburton fell to the Kings at #12.

Yeah it's ridiculous.

I know the media loves David Griffin but maybe it's time for a little criticism for putting so many nonshooters around Zion since they are literally dead last in 3pt % right now.

They basically got Steven Adams for free so I can't fault them there, but I have no idea what the upside of Jaxson Hayes is playing next to Zion. That already looks like a wasted Top-10 pick by Griffin.

I didn't mind the Adams trade but that extension was a little headscratching. As a prospect I thought Hayes could be a Cappella type but I'm not sure that's a great investment with the 8th pick and I agree the fit with Zion is odd.

I think the Ball and Bledsoe pairing is the bigger problem. Short term Reddick or even Hart probably need to start for one of them and long-term I'm not sure either Bledsoe or Ball are the answers with Zion.

I've seen some from some of the smarter analysts on twitter, pointing out that very thing. Partnow among them. They're built to win now with the quality of their roster but not with its composition.

Absolutely embarrassing that Haliburton went 12th.

Looks like Haliburton and his agent were angling to get to the Kings but that shouldn't have prevented another team from picking him.

And all this only comes out after the draft? A lottery prospect says he was angling to be at the destination where he was ultimately drafted? Sacramento? REALLY?

Zach Collins just can not stay on a basketball court.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.
