I don't think they're a finals team with a bottom 5 defense. That almost never happens. Pretty much every defense of a conference champion is top 10-12. LeBron's Cavs were bad one year but I think that's about it.

I'd say they want neither, dipo can leave in FA.

This. My guess is they’ll try to inflate VOs numbers and reflip him before the deadline

Honestly, i think pacers would've been happy with DDV. The injury destroyed dipo's value.

I wouldn’t but I think Dipo is a legit awful fit next to Giannis. Dipo’s defender will camp out in the lane just like Bledsoe’s defender did. Plus, DDV >>>> Dipo on defense.

Kyrie will get completely mad when he realizes he is now the 3rd option. They have money to fill some holes in their roster if they somehow trade kyrie for a more suitable (and sane) player they will be a real superteam

God, I hope this doesn't reignite the Oladipo to Milwaukee stuff. Yuck.

If I'm Cleveland, I'm selling Drummond for anything future-based.

The weight gain was probably strategic.

Heard he was going to play the 4 there so Durant didn't have to.

I'm gonna go ahead and bet Kyrie submarines them. Oh and the fact that they have zero 4s or 5s other than Durant. I know they'll sign someone, but there's no one currently available that doesn't suck.

Well essentially now, kyrie is the 3rd wheel. Obviously he didn't expect this when he first decided to team up with KD. He hated being in bron's shadow, he is really going to hate this. Could explain why he started missing time from work. I guess he knew about this trade about a week ago. I think he will hang around for one ring and then look to find his own team, yet again.

I still think I would trade Bogut for Harden and Ibaka.

I love how NBA teams sell all this crap to their fans (we're all about FAMILY! CULTURE! THE FUTURE! YOUNG TALENT!) and then as soon as they get half a chance to get a big name they just demolish everything

Poor NBA fans, **** life ever. You're statistically guaranteed to have what feels like a failed season 29 years out of 30, and then you have to listen to all that marketing crap on top.

Those Brooklyn picks that Houston got might turn out to be reasonably valuable, because even with all the talent in Brooklyn, they're going to be an awful defensive team without Allen, and who knows what Kyrie's going to do there. He's the opposite of a leader. If they can trade him for a good interior defender, that'd help them a lot. Brooklyn's going to be an easy team to root against.

Hopefully not. The talent though is ridiculous on the offensive end. It means, one can have an off night. They need to find defense and off course chemistry.

There is only 1 ball in basketball and this team requires atleast 2 or 3. Kyrie and Harden are useless without the ball.
What I admired from the Nets the last couple of years was the movement of the ball and their hustle on defense.
I doubt I will see much of that this season.

This reminds me a lot of when the Lakers traded for AD and people were talking about how they mortgaged their future, don't have a bench, don't have avenues to improve their roster further blah blah blah.

The Nets just acquired an MVP candidate to go with another MVP candidate on top of another star. They just put together the blueprint to win in the NBA. Maybe they don't put it together year one like the Lakers did but they sure as hell have a better outlook then when they had Caris LeVert and some picks.

Brooklyn about to average 50 FTs per game.

Where has Kyrie been anyways? It's like he just fell off the face of the earth.
