Fun fact for crypto investors who also think about global climate change:

Bitcoin miners use purpose-built computers to solve complex mathematical equations that effectively enable a bitcoin transaction to go through. The miners are rewarded for their efforts in the digital currency.

However, the entire process is incredibly energy intensive because of the amount of power used by the computers. Bitcoin has a carbon footprint comparable to that of New Zealand, producing 36.95 megatons of CO2 annually, according to Digiconomist.

Let's **** go. I bought in a bunch at ~$10. Sold a handful to win back my GME stupidity a few days ago, bought mostly back in. It's rising $10 every 20 minutes.

The halt was annoying but I get that it's there for a reason. That being said I'm glad I bought in to the meme stocks with some fun money. I'm up 383% on AMC

Where do we cash out? It's pushing $80. I am going to gamble on a GME-like run to $200 or $300+ but may have to cash out with some profits on a few shares.

JEIS, does FuelCell have another $28 run in it? I'm thinking about hopping back on.

Hell yeah bud. Blackrock owns a ton of shares in fuel cell. Blackrock just got Engine 1 to muscle out three top executives at Exxon go cleaner energy route. They will be needing Fuel cell tech for carbon capture projects, plus fcel has a few larger scale project that will be finishing up soon. It also rides up with Plug good news too. Fuel cell also is getting into Canada and Korea for projects. Exxon is trying to get funding for 100 billion carbon capture project in Houston.

My guess is 30+ by October.

Is anybody in on CLII? I bought in a few months back as its supposed to be merging with EvGo which is a big car charging company which seems like long term may be a good market. But that CLII has dropped a bit since I bought and keeps lurking around $10-12/share. I need it at $15/share to at least break even but the risk is if the merge doesn't go through CLII could bottom out. One day, I want to buy more; the next, I just want to cut bait since its speculative investment.

If JEIS says FCEL to 30 by October, I listen. 10/15 $22c purchased for a nice price of $62.

I mean this is what Gamestop looked like as well, right? There is a lot of volatility/gamma squeezes (did I get that term right?).

I think AMC is probably a decent bet to sit at $20-30 back in "normal times" and I had a bunch of shares at an average price of $9 or $10 and then bought a few more in the $40-45 range...so I guess if this goes nowhere I'll sell in months or a year at basically even (I hope).

On the other hand, what ended up with that Mudrick money? Did they basically just double their $230 million investment yesterday and cash out during one of the pauses?

gamma squeeze is different from a short squeeze. but yes, there is a lot of volatility in gamma squeezes and squeezes in general.

I bought some Plug Power, too. Why not?! I'm basically Gordon Gekko now.

Yeah, I admittedly don't know a ton hence gamma vs. short - but GME is currently doing gamma squeezes, right? I had read that is how its volatility is occurring.
