Ehh I was a big Jabari fan at the time but honestly CHL was right the whole time, Jabari imo was too stupid and lacked the motor (defensively) and instincts to ever be more than a Beasley-type empty calorie scorer who gave you 20 and didn’t actually contribute to winning.

True, but in retrospect, Eric is a dumb player, Khris is a clueless player and Giannis lacks basic awareness and plays with the dark side of the force. MCW had butterfingers. Moose's game was being legislated out of the Association. Jason Kidd was a MORON. We were collectively a dumb team. Jabari just happened to be the dumbest.

For his own sake I think Donte needs a game off.

If Augustin can be closer to what he’s been the last few years I think it would be an incredible help. Glad he’s having a solid game today

Disagree there, Jabari was going to be a pretty special offensive player in a universe where he doesn't hurt his knee

Merrill better get at least 10 three-point attempts tonight.

Nice to see the guys play well and loose but Portland looked like the worst defensive team in league history tonight.

I'm sure post game it will be Bud's fault for not switching though.

This comment aged nicely.

This is the first time we started switching everything. The Blazers made 6 3s midway the 1st quarter, then we got used to it and the only open 3s we allowed for the rest of the game were a couple from Forbes and a couple more when Lopez was beat by Lillard and someone had to help to deny an easy lay up.
GHOSTofSIKMA wrote: I think that we will do worse than last season and that Giannis is now just a mere all star. All because we switched from Bud to Griffin.
