Under the radar but Giannis played 30 min in 3 quarters. Hard for the pacers to go on runs when you have two of the big three in at all times.

Portis doesn't seem anything like his reputation. Wonder if he just needed a "winning" environment.

They also would have won if they actually played him at his natural position instead of shoe-horning him into the starting lineup at SF against possibly the worst possible team in the NBA to play him at SF against. He was acquired to be the stretch 4 in lineups with Giannis at the 5 and they barely used him in that role the entire series. They started him at SF because "it worked" against Boston but he wasn't part of the reason they steamrolled Boston. They should have started Brogdon after his 2nd or 3rd game back from the foot injury because that was what worked all year.

Very happy with Portis so far though. Really making a breakthrough in efficiency.

I remember in middle school.....having a wide-open layup but kicking it out to a man for a corner three. My teammate made it and I was benched for making a "poor decision."

Looks like I was ahead of my time....similar to the 2001 Milwaukee Bucks.
