PG: Bucks Blast Brogdon, Pacers

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Feb 4, 2021 2:18 am

Great Giannis, good bench, Forbes and Portis. Bad end of bench.

I haven’t thought about divisions in the NBA in years. Fortunately Jim talked about it countless times (the Bucks are undefeated in division play this season).
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

And zero jump shots for the second game in a row. You love to see it.

Do the Bucks lead the league in garbage time minutes played?

The closer Giannis is to that guy tonight the closer we are to beating our playoff demons in June. Hell of a performance.

Great W. Guys seemed really loose.

I definitely see guys smiling more lately. Including "resting bitch face Forbes". Hell, Giannis has smiled more during the last 2 games than he has over the last 5 years (during game-time).

Wonder if they had some kind of come-to-Jesus meeting where Bud reminded them that they're getting paid millions to play a kids game, and told them to loosen the **** up and have fun out there.

Jrue really took Brogdon out of the game. Would hate to draw that matchup on the 2nd game of a b2b.

Giannis finally didn't miss a triple double by 1 assist.

Thanasis did not want the turnover on his stat line
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

Jrue made Brogdon look like a scrub. Good game all around. Happy we didn't see many if any dumb three point attempts from Giannis or Brook.

Giannis has been trending towards the player we need him to be for the last 7 games or so, way less 3 pointers and some semblance of a controlled player.

Honestly maybe our biggest problem is offensive execution, particularly in high pressure situations. Most of our guys still forget how to play basketball when the pressure is on. Excited to see if we can overcome that mental roadblock this season.

Good win.

Post-game interview Giannis mentioned the team having fun 3-4 times. Something definitely happened that loosened them up.

One thing I saw today was how Giannis just *looking* to pass opens up angles for himself in transition. Not even a fake, just looking at the weak side of the floor kept the Pacers from fully committing to his drive.

Shot clock violations are team turnovers.
