Giannis has the exact same body type, and through nutrition and incredible work has transformed himself in to an athlete that can take hits, and play through anything.

But Giannis is constantly banged up and he's only 26. He's missed 9 games this season so far. He missed 10 games last regular season and was hobbled in the Miami series.

Maybe/probably I explained my point poorly. Obviously no two players are exactly alike. My main point was that Giannis and Durant have had very uniquely opposite developmental arks. KD was an early bloomer and has sort of stagnated. GA was a late bloomer and keeps getting better. GA is crazy tough. KD is surprisingly soft.

I don’t think any of that is a crazy take.

Dude Durant was averaging 30 a night and came 2nd in MVP voting when he was 21 years old, it absolutely is crazy to hold it against him that he didn’t have the same level of improvement that Giannis did. If he had Giannis’ development curve but from where he started, he would be far and away the greatest player ever and it wouldn’t even be close lol.

You’re basically penalizing Durant for being insanely good at an earlier age than Giannis. Even Giannis’ development is plateauing relative to the rate he was improving years ago...it’s what happens when you reach a certain level. Durant just reached that level way earlier in his career than Giannis did. That’s not a fair knock on him at all. And btw, Durant absolutely has improved throughout his 20s.

And the injury argument is really unfair too.

Durant is an all time great. His legacy is secure.

I also think he is physically softer than he could have been. I guess the league is lucky he cares more about twitter beefs than bicep curls.

The Bledsoe clutch bug strikes again.

I feel bad for Eric, he's a good dude, but man there is a mental part of the game he just hasn't been able to overcome in important moments.

Giannis plays a much more physical game than Durant does.

Bledsoe not paying attention? Stunned

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

He played until he was like 40. I used to sign him in 2K all the time

So some Lakers super fan on twitter has been catfishing for 12 years? That's some dedication.

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

Lebron, Giannis and Harden and I probably forgot someone else. All Iron Men who got hurt this season for the first time.

Not really sure you can put Giannis in with those two.
