Yet it is. He's known for it. He's a great scorer (like most scoring leaders) but he doesn't do enough of anything else. His teammates are not that bad. His team should have a winning record. They barely talk to each other on the court and it starts with him.

I don’t want the PG Washington has at all.

Brook had a great game.

Donte good game.

Khris part of a good game.

Portis and Forbes good off the bench.

Jrue showed some life in the second half.

On to Philly

Perfect summary.

If Giannis wants MVP, we need to take 4 of 5 in the Nets/Sixers battles coming up. No one is going to give him MVP if we are 3rd in the East and 6th overall.

I'd prefer Finals MVP.

Unless major injuries happen I don't see either team in the Finals. Especially Utah. The Bucks, I think, have a better chance to make it.

Bud needs to unlock Jrue and actually tell everyone else "Hey, this guy we traded the farm for, let's let him actually be the PG and run crunch-time sets."

Jrue has been good in stretches. We do have to remember that he had covid recently and that is not easy to recover from and play great. I believe Bled’s play last playoff season was quite adversely affected as he too had just recovered from Covid.

Did Jrue actually have covid or was it for protocol to quarantine?

My understanding is he had covid, and was symptomatic. Tatum was dealing with lingering effects well over a month after testing positive, so it might take Jrue some time to get back to 100%.

DJ and DJ have to go

Trading DJA for a combo/PG who can shoot 3s at 38+% and has defensive versatility (defend 1-3) could be enough. But the guy has to be starter quality, even if they don't choose to start him.

I don't have any stats to back it up, but I think he's been finishing better than he was earlier in the year (which was much worse than in previous years).

I'd prefer Finals MVP.

Jerry West won Finals MVP on a losing team.

Correct. Jrue was symptomatic.

Don't want him unless he can hit minimum 45%, preference being 55 actually.

Don't disagree with your overall point but MD's post was an odd one considering how good he was tonight despite all the attention we gave him while he was on the court.

That Devin Booker sure is a no D chucker who can only score and put empty stats on losing teams too. Don't want anything to do with guys like that...

Even when the Suns stunk last year, they were significantly better with Booker on the floor. The Wizards are unaffected by Beals presence.

Guys like Booker, Trae, LaVine, Beal are best as #2s. The Suns are shining now that Booker is no longer their best player. I would still love any of them on the Bucks.

I think Westbrook is an aging loser.

Would I take the best player of four along with the worst? Of course.

Giannis/Beal/Westbrook would be UNGUARDABLE. That's a better than punchers chance against Brooklyn. As it is, we have little chance and are imminently beatable. At least Westbrook gives a crap, but either way you could move him if he doesn't work as a 3rd option. The prize is pairing the MVP with a real top class scorer for the first time in his career

Giannis was incredible closing out that game.

Giannis in the first half was content to throw dimes everywhere and not get his own.

But in the 3rd quarter wizards made a run and Giannis started to assert himself.

Then in the 4th he destroyed that wizards comeback. He just took over.

And thr entire team seemed to rely on him that second half. It was interesting to see the team rally behind Giannis whenever he subbed bsck into the game.

Bud was doing a nice job of getting Giannis his short rest just enough, and then getting Giannis back in to take over.

Nice to see Jrue also will his way to scoring a few points in the 4th, he made a few important plays down the stretch.

Donte was active all game, he has so many plays that never make the Stat sheet.

His screen to give Giannis a free lane to dunk late in the 4th was a backbreaker. That was all smarts and strength. I absolutely loved that play.

Those are the plays that make me such a fan of DDV.
