Pj Tucker perspective from a Rox fan

Post#1 » by RoxFan » Thu Mar 18, 2021 2:01 pm

Greetings!

If any of you have doubts about PJ Tucker, please stop. PJ Tucker has been a fan favorite in Houston for years. He's a dog, relentless. He can play the 3, 4 and 5. He is a sniper on the corners. He has a solid floater when he's ran off the line. He barks at teammates when they miss defensive assignments. He's an amazing communicator on the defensive side, consistently pointing and teaching when teammates get lost switching.

Tuck was upset before the season. He and Harden are best friends. He knew Harden was going to ask for a trade, conversely the real reason Tuck was pissed was because he never received an extension offer before it was too late. He poured his heart and soul every night and felt the owner (Tilman) didn't appreciate his value. (Tilman is cheap douchebag) PJ did mail it in this year because he wants to win a chip. He doesn't want to be part of a rebuild. He doesn't want to risk injury. He has at least a solid 2 years in him. He will turn it on again.

Tuck is thicc! It's hard to move him off the block. That's why he can play the 5. He is a great rebounder for his size. He tenacity last post season was jaw dropping. Watch him guard AD in game 1 of last year's playoffs.

You guys are in win mode now. PJ Tucker is the exact kind of player you want on your team in the playoffs. He raises his game to the next level. He's a great locker room guy. He's a student of the game.

The trade was good for both teams. The Rox are rebuilding, tanking. You guys have a great chance of winning a chip. You have to go through the Nets first, but your chances just improved. Good luck

Tucker always defended Giannis well, this deal was a Bucks win just so Giannis doesn't have to match up against him in the playoffs.

I'm going to move this into the trade thread as Tuckers pros and cons are already being discussed there. Thanks for your perspective
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
