To be fair, many of us have fawned over Jrue in numerous threads since his acquisition. The contract extension was simply a formality.

It's funny because I was thinking, Jrue finally has an opportunity to shine in the playoffs and show the world what an amazing player he is.

Prime time, national TV, post season when it really matters.

Taking down bigger names and sending them home.

And the bucks fearful fan in me thought, oh no! Other teams will see him as such a stud, he's going to worth more than we can afford and another team on a coast is going overpay and he'll take his talents there.

Then that millisecond thought passed and I remembered he signed an extension.

That fearful bucks fan is so annoying!

But how good does it feel to have a two time MVP and a stud like Jrue holiday and NOT A GODAMN WORD ABOUT THEM LEAVING OR GETTING POACHED BY ANOTHER TEAM!!

Harden never would have extended in Milwaukee.

But the Bucks could have beat out the Nets offer to acquire him if we really wanted to.

We prioritized Holiday though. I’m hopeful it will prove to have been the right decision — especially with the burgeoning ‘we gotta be dogs’ team culture.

Some here have said it hurts not having a classic point guard, but I think Jrue is the best possible guard for us. He can do anything you need in the backcourt, but when Giannis is bringing the ball up and initiating Jrue still contributes in so many ways.

His defense alone and not being a spazz on offense is massive

Curious....Who would you rather have Paul George or Jrue? I feel like it is a lot closer than the national media thought when we got made fun of for that trade.

On this team Jrue is much more valuable. The dude is just kind of a PG and also easily the best PG we've had in a couple of decades. :lol:

Yeah, I don't think Jrue comes up short for the Bucks like PG has on his other teams either. He's always locked in on defense. Might not be scoring like PG but his impact is greater.

Kawhi would be better off with Kyle Lowry like in Toronto. Funny thing is LAC could also use Jrue more than PG as well. They need a PG.
