They look young. Davison chucking out of necessity is gross. There seems to be talent there though.

I was convinced King, Davison, and Reuvers were going to grow into All big10 players when they were freshman though so I know nothin

Crowl truly has zero strength. Not sure we'll find it - beyond some mentality - this year. Will need another offseason of focus.

ETA: But he has some good moves and I like what I see there.

Badgers will take some tough Ls with them being such a young team. I think they win tonight if either Davis plays or we don't have that eight minute stretch without either Crowl or Vogt
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Let Davison go.. 40 shots a game.

Rafferty will call him tough as nails and the next Jimmer...
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.

Complete garbage.

I fully expect/expected a rebuilding year but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to take this.

The rest of college basketball has Bo Ryaned their strategies and the margin is too thin.

Though I am glad I can bring back the, "OK, the opponent is unreasonably hot from 3 today" (which is true for A&M, my god) but the difference is it's not, "why are we down by 5 @Illinois" it is "why are we down by 10 to a bubble team"

Crowl and Reuvers have/had as bad of touch as you can have for a 6'10" player with coordination/can step out can have in the post.

I would like to not get steamrolled in early season games by bubble teams even in down years.

Lots to work on, no doubt. Defense has been pitiful today.

I am obviously a known booster of supporting Wisconsin being perennially above average in both sports and how the basketball team still builds with 4 year players.

There's a lot of season left. I get it.

But I hope to see one player become a deadly shooter or somebody like Crowl actually be able to make a layup in traffic or what is the point the next few years? I was on the opposite side when we had a rebuilding year 4 years ago but I just worry about where this is going.

Lol. You sound foolish tbh

Edit: if they were playing a good team I might agree, but they're not.

Will Texas A&M set a record for Maui Jim Maui Invitational margin of victory?
