I want from Bucks Org to start operating like they have Michael Jordan on team.
Giannis can dominate this decade. Bucks can cement their own culture and logo.
Giannis has already 8 years in the League and just won a Championship, which means that 10 year old kids in 2013, are now 18 and just watched him winning it all. He has 10 more years of dominance ahead.
Love you all. Heads up Champs
Draft picks: '15 Jerian Grant, '16 Thon Maker, '17 Isaiah Hartenstein/*John Collins, '18 TD Devonte Graham, Hamidou Diallo, '20 Sam Merrill, Killian Tillie, '21 Joe Wieskamp, '22 TU C.Braun/G.Procida '23 Tristan Vukcevic/Maxwell Lewis

Don't forget about 9-year-old kids who just turned 17.

So the Celtics are in the tax, and looking to move a player. Stevens has been awful. Time for the Bucks to swoop in and steal Middleton's protégé, Aaron Nesmith. He has a $3.6 million contract, and Stevens didn't seem to like him, kept him on the bench behind wonder scrub Romeo Langford.

Bucks get: Nesmith
Celtics get: 2nd rounder

Because he's washed. Dude shot 35/33/85 last season with Lebron drawing attention. He's cooked.

Avery Bradley would be a really nice insurance policy on Donte. Also, DeAndre Bembry ffs.

Or let's go farther with this. Hawks have been shopping Reddish for a first since last trade deadline to reset their salary time-line, with no takers. This might interest them:

Bucks get: Reddish
Celtics get: 2nd rounder
Hawks get Nesmith, 2nd rounder

At the end of this, everything the Bucks got from the Tucker trade ends up being the Reddish trade. I love this deal.

We just saw the gravitational pull of Giannis and an NBA champion team in bringing in free agents. We couldn't get Malik Monk. We aren't getting Luka. Rather Giannis will be the one pulled out of Milwaukee.

Re the San Antonio model, when the Spurs won the title in 2003, Tony Parker was 21 years old and Manu was 25 years old. And the Spurs had their full compliment of future draft picks still in the fold.

You go for the repeat now.

Nice dream.....I would easily do this. Doubt Boston would.

Brooklyn signed Bembry because they're trying to get better.

Giannis will likely be able to recruit foreign players better than American players, especially younger ones.

I believe he is the 1v1 Giannis coach and our shooting coach. It's a hit because he was close to Giannis but considering our garbage shooting percentages in the post season maybe it's also a bless in disguise. Lets see who will replace him.

ShootingtheJ wrote:I still don't get why trading 31 was a penny pinching move? The player picked at 31 would make less than a vet. That would actually save a few million with the tax.

The penny pinching move was not buying back in at 33 like the Clippers did.

The 31st pick would have locked them into about 2 yrs/4 million. The last 4 players on the Bucks roster are on 1/1.5 & 3 of them are unguaranteed. The pick they traded for is on a 2-way. And they aren't necessarily going to use all 15 of their nba roster spots. So at this point they are saving money one way or another.

We can repeat. I'd just like for us to have had a better off-season to improve the odds.

We lost PJ and Forbes. One guy was a critical microwave scorer for us in the regular season and outscored Jimmy Butler in the Miami series. The other guy was a 30mpg playoffs starter who got in the face of the opposition mentally and physically on every play.

We added Hill, Hood and Semi. Hill is getting into Ersan washed territory, Hood is coming off a blown achilles and Semi is viewed by Celtics fans like we viewed Royal Ivey.
