He’s at 21 ppg on 49/14/60 in his last 15 games against them including playoffs. You can’t find a team that has held him to that over a 3 game stretch let alone the past couple years.

He always looks like that against them because they make him shoot or pass the ball. He finally decided to find open guys after game 2 in the playoffs but he was extremely frustrated that whole series and even talked about it in that interview with shaq after sweeping them.

Feels like a self fulfilling prophecy at this point with Miami’s shooters from nowhere. The guys that are great shooters but can’t really hang in the NBA see the way Miami use these guys and think that’s the place to establish themselves and it just becomes like this school of pure shooters going there to try to prove they’re the next Duncan Robinson. It would be a lot cooler if they weren’t one of our competitors.
