Trade Khris and fire Bud. Oh what could've been fellas.

(But really finding a forward who can defend wings would be nice)

Idea being tossed around on the T&T board.

MKE: LeVert, Boucher
IND: DiVincenzo, Dragic, Hood
TOR: Lopez, Lamb, Ojeleye, 2nd

Holiday / Hill
Allen / Connaughton / Matthews
Middleton / LeVert
Portis / Boucher / Nwora
Giannis / Cousins

I'm sure they do, but they won't get it. They'll get something like the Grayson Allen package.

Inexplicably, people still want Caris Levert. Dude is almost always hurt and isn't any good when he isn't.

If you want to take the best roster in the league and ruin it, this would be a great way to do it. Yes, I'm assuming we see Brook this season.

Even if we don't it's still awful for us.

Donte for Hamidou Diallo please.
Get me a healthy athletic wing.
We will need him against the Bulls.
Bulls backcourt are tall and athletic.
Hill and the 40 year old archer will probably be unplayable against them.

We got Jrue. Hopefully, Donte will be available as well. They can match up against anybody from the Bulls backcourt. Not to mention, Giannis is quite possibly the best help defender in the NBA. I'd throw Jrue on LaVine. Lonzo isn't a big scoring threat off the dribble. He's mostly a facilitator, not a shot creator.

Pass on Diallo. His career average from 3 is 28.9%. The respective number from the FT line is 62.5%. He's a way below average shooter. We gotta surround Giannis with shooters.

The funny thing about the Bulls is they really, really struggle against the drop zone.

Surprised POM hasnt been named yet. Without looking, I would think Giannis would be close.

I don't HATE hate this but don't like it either. One ugly knock on effect would be the Pacers buying out Dragic and him going back to the Heat. I wouldn't participate in any trade that sends Dragic someplace he wouldn't play. Send him to the Clippers or something.

I apologize ahead of time for the request, but does anyone have a firm grasp on the offseason and what we’ll be able to offer both our own guys or bringing in others?

We'll have early Bird rights on Portis. Assuming we won't somehow gain access to the non-taxpayer MLE, we can offer him up to 175% of his current salary, or the NBA's average salary, whichever is greater.

175% of his current salary = $7,608,300
The average salary in 2020-21 was $7.5 million. We don't have the final figure for the current season.

Long story short, let's say we can offer Bobby up to ~$7.6 million in year one.

We have full Bird rights on Donte and Pat (if he opts out). We can offer them whatever we want up to their maximum salary.

Needless to say, we'll have zero cap space. If projections hold, the taxpayer MLE will start at $6,149,000 in year one. The bi-annual will start at $3,951,000 in year 1.

Don't have the source on me RN but the average salary is a lot higher. Last time I checked it will be between 10-11m. Also can't offer a 1y deal with early bird rights, has to be at least 2 (without options I think, not sure).

This says $8.25MM for this season. Seems reputable enough.

No.
I guess you're hoping he could revert to his career average (or career peak) for 3%. I wouldn't count on that, and he's horrible defensively.
