I don't recall seeing him ever get hurt.
Not saying Jrue didn't actually hurt his ankle, but this is like the 2nd or 3rd time this season Jrue has hurt his ankle without appearing to hurt his ankle.
I think it was the Spurs game in San Antonio where Jrue played and finished the game and never appeared to hurt his ankle, but then the next day it was reported he would miss a couple games because he hurt his ankle.
Then we have Grayson Allen who seems to get the flu twice a month. Obviously he just came back from covid, but he's missed games on multiple occasions this season with ''non-covid related illness''.
Not saying we're load managing guys or anything but it does make you ask questions.
I definitely think they are using these injuries for load management, but weird Giannis hasn't really sat a ton.
Yeah, they're not fooling us lol. Maybe Jrue did tweak his ankle a bit and they're just being extra cautious but yeah, seems odd. At this rate I am waiting for the Bucks to be the first team to get fined for lying and saying someone had Covid when they actually didn't so that they could use it as an excuse to load manage...lol.
Also makes me wonder about Lopez. I wonder if his back issue was something that would have bothered him, but something he could have played through and got fixed after the season. Instead the Bucks were like get the back issue fixed now, that way you can essentially load manage 85% of the regular season and be right for the playoffs. That would actually be really smart if that's what they did.
Pure speculation on my part. Seems odd that Lopez seemed fine during preseason and seemed fine the first game of the season, then suddenly was out, then had back surgery a month and a half later.
