Holy ****. This is incredible.

I had to check it like 5 times. Almost 40% of our potential point differential in 9% of our minutes. And he shared the court with Giannis for more than 1/3 of his minutes.

I [don't] hate to be a highlight truther but LeBron double jumped off Kevin Love's thigh.

Bad loss incoming for Cleveland. Lakers are one of the weaker teams they face in their run home. They might drop below the Raps and Brooklyn at this rate.

Color me skeptical and not at all Kelly green with envy. I think the 538 models, both in sports and politics, overemphasize recency and amplify the bandwagon effect. Boston won't get easy points inside in the playoffs, and Al Horford is now too old at 35 to be a Giannis stopper.

Boston is a hot team now with the proven ability to shut down bad perimeter teams, but the playoffs are weeks away and they are small and vulnerable in the middle, despite 6'9" Robert Williams being the second coming of Bill Russell to some.

I feel like if your model says the Pelicans are more likely to make the Finals than the Cavs, you've got some work to do.

I believe their RAPTOR model assumes a healthy Zion for the playoffs.

Probably not the only bad assumption feeding the model.

Been thinking that too. I guess if Ben isn't playing it's not as interesting.

Problem is I'm not sure we aren't ending up as the three with the torrid pace Boston is on, our tougher schedule and penchant for easing into the playoffs

LeBron with 29 shot attempts tonight. You KNOW he wants that scoring title. Lol.

I wonder how bad it is. If it's a month long injury that keeps him out until the playoffs, that makes the nets in the first round look a lot less scary. Even if you aren't a Ben Simmons fan, that removes a starter and makes then even more reliant on Durant and Kyrie.

Truly hilarious loss by Miami tonight. All that talk of “only X games with our real top 5!!!” just to lose to an Embiid and Harden-less Sixers playing the corpses of DeAndre and Millsap 48 minutes lol.

That Miami loss could bring some chaos when things are all said and done. Also the kinda loss that makes you think less of them come playoff time.

He could just want to win. Since January 2nd, the Lakers are 2-11 when LeBron has fewer than 23 attempts and 7-4 when he has more than 23 attempts.

A lot can still happen but it's looking like for us, finishing #3 would be worst case scenario.

It's really looking like Brooklyn is going to sneak into the #6 spot. So if we finish #3, we likely get Brooklyn in round 1, then get either Philly or Boston in round 2 without the HCA. Not good.

We finish #2 we probably get either Toronto or Cleveland in round 1. Then play Boston or Philly in round 2 with HCA in our favor.

We finish #4 we likely get a very beatable Chicago team in round 1, then get a Miami team in round 2 that just lost to the Harden and Embiid-less Sixers.

Bucks need to either go hard for the #2 seed or tank for the #4 seed lol. Finishing #3 and having to play Brooklyn, then Philly/Boston without HCA would be a gut punch.

Of course we'll win enough games to avoid #4, but not win enough to get #2 and finish #3. :banghead:

If there was ever a time for an 11 win streak it is now lol. Winning our last 11 would guarantee us the #2 seed and likely let us sneak into the #1 seed. We'd have a shot at it too if wasn't for that 3 game road trip next week.

I'm not saying we should, but it wouldn't be the worst thing to happen if we slid into that #4 slot

I would prefer an 11 game win streak in May and June but to each their own.

I imagine Giannis and Co feel confident they are beating anyone if they play their best. Don't need the hardest route by any means but I'll still roll with us
