I'm not watching that but I hope I'm not on a deadline when it comes out!

I finished up Ashes of Malmouth expansion for Grim Dawn; ended my playthrough (for real this time) at level 64. Probably going to uninstall it, play through some other games, and revisit it after I've had a few months of separation before playing a higher difficulty.

Rollout sounds like a mess. The Switch version is an emulation with online play (but the Switch has garbage online play), while the Xbox version is upgraded across the board and available on Game Pass, but only has couch co-op. WTF.

Both times I watched this I immediately picked out Schiff/Toby and by the end I was like no way that's Toby because that would simply be way too cool.

Metal: Hellsinger is pretty good. Combat is fluid and the multiplier system while not anything groundbreaking using it the way they do feels rewarding.

Sega just dropped ports of Judgement and Lost Judgement on PC for any Yakuza series fans out there. Someone noticed ESRB ratings for them yesterday and there were articles of “maybe these games will come to PC soon” and they dropped the next day

Looking at the 2K23 rosters. Some good, some bad omissions.
The early 2000s Bucks roster has a lot of made up players, like most rosters.
They do have.
Allen
Cassell
Redd
Kukoc
Thomas
Ollie
Johnson
Caffey
Murray

They had Big Dog in last year’s nba2k on the all time Bucks team. It was fun as hell to shoot some midrange J’s with Glenn.

Reviews weren't great for 2k so far. Fortunately, it will be about $35 by Black Friday.

I couldn't help it. I picked it up over lunch. I know I'm going to hate 90% of it and I'll never touch the MyPlayer mode, but I really can't wait to dig into the MyEra stuff, even if it's wildly incomplete. It seems like already there's a large community of people making the historical draft classes accurate. I want to start in '93 rebuild the NBA I grew up watching.

MyPlayer grind is harder than ever this year. VC feels like it means nothing. Little things like being able to switch your outfit or change badges while lined up for a 2's or 3's game is gone this year after being an awesome addition last year.
So dumb, but I'm a basketball-holic so I'll continue to painstakingly give them my money every year

Interesting. Will be curious how the created characters work into it. But this is just giving me the vibe of being kinda cheesy like 4 instead of polished like 5. They obviously can’t just do the same thing over and over, but I hope the extra stuff and new styling doesn’t end up being fluffy and…kitschy? I guess for lack of better words.
The new C:S expansion dropped yesterday. Can’t wait to play it!

The gameplay is pretty remarkable if you can get past the microtransactions that MyCareer is built around. Easily the best gameplay they’ve ever had IMO.

There’s a workaround for the latter at least on PS5. If you hit the home button on your controller and then return to the game, the full menu pops up so you can make changes while you’re waiting.
I honestly don’t mess around with the park at all so that doesn’t affect me but I saw a tweet about this workaround online and tested it once for myself and it worked.

The sad part is I don't play for the actual gameplay much, I just like doing the MyLeague/MyGM where I manage a team. I always take the worst team ever and try to make them good.

I started in '92. My current team has Kobe, AI, T-Mac, Kidd, Kemp, Penny, Duncan, Jalen Rose, Sam Cassell, and Tyson Chandler. I've got no picks in the Ming draft, but I've got five first rounders for the LeBron/Melo/Bosh/Wade draft coming up
