That Heat guy with his 'kaboom' is one of the worst things in commentary right now. Every single time there's a three he says it, but sometimes with zero emotion depending on the state of the game. It's like he's legally obligated to call it like that on every 3.

I'm fine with Zora's kind of not good because she'll likely get better and she doesn't talk too much. When you aren't great, less is more, I'm entertained enough watching the game and my bar for commentary is don't annoy me.

Good stuff from Rob Mahoney this week, he just had a piece on the Ringer about Giannis’ criminally underrated MVP case, and hopped on Simmons’ pod to talk about it (and the Bucks generally too). Thought this even before his pro Giannis/Bucks stuff this week but Mahoney is lowkey one of the best media guys out there today imo, especially on podcasts
