I would still like to avoid the Nets in round 1 if we can but I get the sense that if we stomped them in games 1 & 2, at some point during game 3 or 4 the Nets would collectively be like **** this. If we don't play with our food Giannis would break their spirits.

The Nets are good but they seem like a front running team. If they got a split in in Milwaukee it could get interesting, but if we went up 2-0 and and jumped on them in game 3, I could see them packing it in and saying **** it. I could be wrong.

Still reeling. In the grand tapestry of NBA hoops that was an epic regular season game.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

I feel basically the same way about Brooklyn that I did about the Miami matchup last year going into the playoffs: it's going to be tough, I get why people are afraid, but if we can't beat them, we're not going to win the title anyways. Whatever happens happens.

And then the Bucks went out and wiped their ass with Miami in 4 lol. After that, and after 4 straight against what is now the best regular season team in the league (Phoenix), I just don't fear any team. If we lose we lose, the Bucks are far from perfect and can lose to a number of teams. But I just don't care about matchups tbh.

The only thing I want is HCA for as long as possible in the playoffs, Fiserv with a full crowd is a **** fortress. They were damn near untouchable at home last postseason.

It's insane to think that both the top leading scorers of each team played tonight.

Brook Lopez(Nets) and Giannis(Bucks).

Are people gonna show the same way as last year? What's the word around town, are people excited for the playoffs?

It’s comical. According to Redick he’s not even a top 3 player.

That was hilarious, Embiid was so confused and in disbelief that JJ left Giannis out of the top3 players in the world. It was like that video where Lil Wayne found out that Eminem wasn't on the top5 list of rappers but Gucci was.

Just be grateful for JJ's take. Without it, we wouldn't have Embiid's reaction.

They go far again they will be, I’m sure they’ll be packed first round and especially so if they play the nets.
You seen how the deer district evolved from hundreds of fans in the first round to 70,000 by the finals.

I would expect the same deal, I think more people are excited to go and hang out around deer district this time around so that would add more casual fans in the earlier rounds.

The bucks are not going to lose another game this season. They will go into triple overtime before winning the championship game, just to make things interesting.

That was the Nets best punch and outside Giannis on both ends and Jrue/Wes on D, the rest of the Bucks played pretty subpar.

57-41 rebounds is what won it, in spite of committing 22 TOs. Good to see they're dominant on the boards again; hasn't happened often enough.

WOW. This HAS to catapult him straight into the bottom of the first tier of players, right? Has he passed Derozan yet in MVP voting?

Giannis is so good, and he has become more and more cool, collected, and focused in the biggest moments.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Winning the title last year finally exorcised their demons. This team isn't afraid. They don't buckle. They know they can come back and beat anyone.

They should be the favorites to repeat.
