Anyone still second guessing the Grayson trade, or contract extension?

They are nothing compared to the Heat when it comes to unlikeability

Grayson Allen going full Fred Van Vleet playoff form from 2019 is the funniest, most amazing consequence of losing Khris to injury.

Where's the gif of Grayson eating a doughnut? I want to post it on the Bulls forum.

Read that Giannis got fined 20K for post game comments. Doesn’t make sense.

It’s the only gif I can find on Discord so I’ve been sending it to my friend who’s a Bulls fan the last couple games

Stay humble. Even in victory. We don't need that bad juju on us

For game 2 or 3? That seems a bit quick for game 4.

As enjoyable as this has been, it will be nice to have actual playoff games after this round…win or lose…

He was talking about him in the postgame preference, and needless to say his eyes lit up and even made some remarks about him helping them out

From the bulls reddit thread.

Embarrassing. Pretty sure Giannis could walk into the nearest Xsport, point at the first 4 people to walk through the door, and still smash our starting 5.

I saw someone compared Grayson's last 2 games to Forbes last year in round 1. Forbes felt gimmicky to me in that series in a few ways that Grayson doesn't, check these reasons:

1. Grayson has shown he can handle in traffic
2. He can take contact and still finish
3. At 6'4 200lbs he is long and quick enough to not get abused defensively

Now, 2 and 3 are most important because what is different about the playoffs? More physical- that's how the teams get on a guy's head during a long series. And 3, if Grayson misses a few shots but is making defensive plays it doesn't delete him from the rotation unlike what happened to Forbes, Korver, and Mirotic who only could be useful if they are shooting 80% since they were targeted and scores upon on the defensive end.

Concluding then, I think his success can be sustainable and not a gimmick.

Point #1 is important because he isn't a one-trick pony like the afore mentioned guys so you can't just double off him and jump at him when he spots up

That was me. Grayson is a much more well-rounded player than Forbes who is a specialist. Grayson will be a contributor the rest of the way for us - I hope his shooting keeps up and his level continues, even when Middleton returns.

There is some symmetry though between Forbes > Butler and now Allen > Derozan
