ATL - Poole 4/140

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Tue Jul 19, 2022 6:49 pm

Last thread maxed out. Not much going on ATL for the next few weeks until/if we get a Durant or Kyrie trade. And there are still a few FA stragglers on the market.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

All that matters is if Fotis gets unfettered access to the Trade Machine.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

Maybe we'll get a good August rumor to liven things up, like Sam Cassell to the Bulls for Marcus Fizer or Jamaal Crawford.

Good offseason question - for those of you who get the league pass option where you can pick 3 teams, who are you anticipating will be the three most fun teams to watch night in and night out?

I think Id go with: Bucks, Nuggets, Thunder

I wouldn't pick the Bucks since I'm blacked out. But I'd like watching the Grizz and Thunder, and hate watching the Heat.

Pistons are gonna be bad but fun as hell to watch. Cade/Ivey/Bey/Duren AND Beef Stew? Hell yeah.

Might be dog days but doesn't mean you should dog it (posting). If I'm not wilding out on these here boards, I'm in the lab at Chonestown HQ. Refining styles so they don't dull. Trying out new styles to stay a step a head of every one else (haters, etc). Keeping it sharp like the homey Iron Mike Sharpe.

The life, crumbsnatchers, be a bout it.

Good calls. I might add Minnesota to that list. Possibly Cleveland. Honestly besides being a Bucks fan I wouldn't have them on the list as a fun team based on how they basically didn't care about regular season last year. Yea Giannis is good for like 4 ridiculous plays a night but they weren't all that much fun last year. Plus many of their biggest games will be on national TV. Maybe the tough end to year will rejuvenate them to start blasting people like the previous seasons though.

Cleveland would be first on my list I think. Dumb as it may sound, I'm kind of jealous of their core considering that they're 24/22/21. And they added Agbaji, who I think will be a great role player for them.

Magic too. Looking forward to Paolo and Wagner and maybe Suggs gets better.

Interesting team ole Hambone has put together. Not good, but interesting.

Boot em out of the league. Such a shame that he wasted all that talent.

This entirely depends on whether we're getting Fat Zion or Duke Zion.

Agreed, but a talented POS is still a POS.

Excluding the Bucks from the discussion so I can give 3 other teams, I’d probably focus on teams that I don’t expect to be on TV that much (so New Orleans for example is out).

Give me Detroit, Orlando, and maybe Charlotte.
