Finally finished Severance. Took me a while but, next level ****. So many lenses to filter it through. Questioned my own values, beliefs, motivations. That’s the good stuff as Sean Maguire would say.
Great characters. And the thrills. The THRILLS!
Another 4 stars from me.

The new guy in charge over there comes from the Discovery reality TV empire. That's why you're seeing them dump movies, ax Bat Girl, gut the CW slate of TV shows. HBOMax was the best streamer, and that won't be the case going forward.

Just got around to starting s3 of The Boys. What the hell was that opening scene w/ the Termite? This season is going to be wild.

Just ridiculous what he's doing from a consumer perspective. Obviously from a bottom line he thinks it's worth it. Can't imagine he'll have the same luck drawing creative people to participate in his tax write-off scheme, but like you implied he probably doesn't think he needs them.
I don't know how reality plays on streamers but **** with the HBO brand seems like a catastrophic, irrecoverable error to me.

When I watched the last handful of episodes of BB it made me regret that I dumped the show after season three. Now that I'm at the end of BCS I wish I would have stopped at season 3.

BCS, at its peak, was every bit as good as BB, IMO. As a whole, there is no comparison. It started a bit slow and it looks to be ending a bit slow, but it was still a worthwhile and brilliantly written ride.
Lalo, Nacho, Howard, Kim-- so many incredible new characters/arcs that make BCS great. Everyone has different tastes, I guess.

You're missing a lot of Lalo if you stop at season 3.

Black Bird wrapped up tonight. Good stuff. Uncanny the resemblance of Paul Walter Hauser to Larry Hall

Loved it. The costume design on the predator was incredible.

Quite enjoying The Sandman so far ( 6 episodes in). Not perfect, but pretty damn good.
Curious to know what it's like for someone who hasn't read the books.
