Slight twist to combine a couple of cult classics:
MKE: Quickley, Wright
NYK: Beauchamp, MKE '29 1st
WAS: Allen, DET '24 2nd

I wonder if any player under 25 years old will get 20 minutes or more per game this season. The options are Jackson, Beauchamp, and Green. I don't think it's happening.

Seems like a lot to give up. I like Quickley a lot. I just long for an SG that is taller than 6'3".

Delon technically qualifies, but I get it.

New thread fodder, shoutout to Godaddycurse for a weeks old proposal. Rare deal with JRoy approval.
Godaddycurse wrote:Milwaukee out: Holiday, Beauchamp, Allen, 2028 swap, 2030 swap, 2029 1st
Milwaukee in: Dame
GSW out: Paul, Kuminga, 2026 1st
GSW in: Holiday
Portland out: Dame
Portland in: Paul, Beauchamp, Kuminga, Allen, GSW 2026 1st, MIL 2029 1st, MIL 28/30 swaps
Why for Milwaukee: All in to pair Dame w/ Giannis
Why for GSW: Add an elite defensive guard for their small ball death lineup
Why for Portland: Rebuild w/ 2 prospects and some picks

Oh, I think that would make the Ws the favorites. Holiday for that package is insane. There should be fewer assets coming from us to Portland and more from GS to Portland.

Vecenie had a similar proposal on LOB weeks back. Just a fun basic framework if PDX is hellbent on not dealing Dame to Miami.
Maybe take out Beauchamp and GSW sends Moody to Portland instead? Agree Jrue is a goddamn perfect fit for the Dubs, but so is Dame for us.

I feel like the gap between Paul and Holiday as this point is a lot bigger than the gap between Holiday and Dame, particularly with Dame getting paid like a top 5 guy. That said, I understand that nothing we're adding to this trade apart from Holiday has a lot of value. It's really the Ws part of the trade that's extremely objectionable and screws over both us and Portland.

I would pay that price for Dame, personally. PDX would have to really like Kum Bucket. Maybe we keep MJB and Dubs send Moody to PDX instead.

Shameful sht to see the trade thread just barely starting its second hundred while Ramon Sessions generated a cool 700 page colossus barely a decade ago we used to be a country that makes things

Dame's desire to play for the Heat I think says quite a bit about him as a player and what he is looking for from a different team. The Heat offer a chance to win a championship but would also come in and be "the guy", at least offensively. Any of the other teams that have been brought up as possible destinations either do not provide viable championship aspirations, or if they do, they already have a clear #1 that Dame would have to take a back seat too. I believe Dame is looking at his legacy and understands that if he goes to a team and wins a championship as a clear #2 then the argument will always be that he was just a #2. If he goes to the Heat and wins a championship, there could be a perception that he was the needed #1 that came in and was the missing piece for Miami, establishing a much different conversation about his legacy.

Never occurred to me that Griffin and Danny Hurley were both starters at Seton Hall at the same time. Great to see the broad enthusiasm for Dre. Ryan Hoover (Director of Global Scouting) seems especially happy, almost disbelieving.

The thing that bothers me the most is that dane doesnt have a no trade clause yet hes acting like he has one.Miamis offer is garbage n its a business and still feel that cronin is breing bullied into taking a very bad offer.Heat have no assets that the blazers want and if im cronin im waiting

Cool to see. Hope the young guys earn some meaningful minutes but I see G-League stints in CL's future for sure. AJJ might get some late second-quarter minutes. MB is actually tougher to call. He could be in the actual rotation. Who's in front of him? The other MB and GA? Or is it KM and PC at the 3? What position is AJJ going to play? And AJ is a two? We know the other GA is a four/five and TA is there for moral support. BP can play the four/five and sometimes we play one of GAs at the three. Lots of PT to go around but that's ok. AG will have a lot of questions to answer. Initially.

14 years ago. The summer of Ramon. As GAD kept saying, someone was going to need a PG come fall. And Minnesota finally did and tossed out the offer sheet in September.
But, we gave up on that dream on August 18th of that year, when we dealt Amir Johnson to TOR for Roko Ukic and Carlos Delfino. I highlight this, because it was another epic RealGM win. A Toronto fan who worked in a law office, saw a fax of Roko's contract and some legal papers relating to the trade, and posted about it on here days before it happened.

If Dame gets traded to any contender I think he pulls a Donovan Mitchell and pretends like he's as excited as can be by the on-court fit.
Warriors would be insane with Jrue in tow. Agreed they might trade more.
Blazers get at least a comparable deal while also sticking it to Heat like Spurs did to the Lakers with Kawhi.
