Yes. It's a pure show of good faith on Gianni's part. No benefit to extending now besides quieting the noise and locking in.

Someone explain how this helps us with cap flexibility compared to him signing the extension next year. Does this keep us below the 2nd apron or allow us to keep our MLE?
