Everyone is so concerned about Giannis leaving, but with how the supermax contracts are now wouldnt he be tossing away boatloads of cash? Not to mention its gotta be fairly cheap for him to keep his whole crew in Milwaukee. I would actually be surprised at this point if Giannis leaves. Im **** ready for some real hoops.

So the Bucks were on the clock until '05, now functionally this pushes that out two seasons.

Yes. It's a pure show of good faith on Gianni's part. No benefit to extending now besides quieting the noise and locking in.
