Game 10: Celtics at Bucks - 11/10/24 - 2:30 - FDSWI

Zero expectations of a win, can't be disappointed.

Celtics only favored by 1.5.

A rare Sunday afternoon game during football season. Packers are off but I still don't like my attention being diverted. Bucks will be on a smaller screen. Red Zone on the larger screen.

As usual, keep the trade talk (there's a ton of it right now, rightfully so) in the trade thread.

1.5 seems awfully low given how poor we are playing.

Are the Celtics resting a lot of guys?

That spread seems off.

The Celtics are banged up and aren't playing great at the moment, though they're still mostly winning. Porzingis will be out. Brown almost surely will be out. Kornet too. Hauser hasn't shot well yet since returning from a back issue.

Those injuries have given opportunities to others though. Pritchard has taken a bigger role. Queta has emerged as a real player and is starting recently.

Update: Brown and Kornet are now questionable for this game:

Cameron Tabatabaie
Per Celtics:

Jaylen Brown is QUESTIONABLE Sunday afternoon against the Bucks

Kornet and Springer also Questionable. Porzingis Out.

AJax hip pointer limited him in the second half. Hopefully he's good to go.

Hopefully Khris doesn't break a nail today that sets him back another few weeks.

Need AJ to outduel Pritchard.

We're only in November and interest in this team is waning fast. I have zero regard to tune in to this game. I suspect others will feel the same. Game thread will be about 10 pages. PG thread even less.

Still have the Celtics even if they only have 109 Kornets.

I feel like Brook no longer has the ability to contain the beast that is Kornet.

Might be some booing from the home crowd in this one.

We are going to get destroyed at the 3-point line. Boston score more of their points from 3 than any other team this season (55.5% of their total score).

The Bucks are: -
- 27th in terms of opponent 3pt shots made per game (14.9)
- 27th in terms of opponent 3pt rate
- 26th in terms of opponent % of points from 3
- 27th in terms of opponent total points from 3 (44.7 points per game)

I have no problem playing it safe with midds but it is just annoying as hell they just didn't say he was out for a month. It wouldn't effect ticket sales, there's zero competitive advantage to announcing him out a few days before and just frustrating and annoying to ask doc every two days what is the timetable

As with last year, I don’t think the team knew he’d be out for a month or whatever.

There were rumor rumblings of dissent last year with Midds not suiting up. Don’t know if true or not, but it seems clear Khris at this point is coasting it along. We never hear in these pressers claims that “the medical staff hasn’t cleared him yet”. We hear that many times with other players.
