Game 22: Bucks at Celtics - 12/6/24 - 6:30 - ESPN/FDSWI - Khris Back

Jrue and Tatum missed their game Wednesday night with injury but both are expected to play.

Time to get back in the win column.

Go Bucks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Big game to see if AJ green can cut it against a good team after going 2-10. Same with GTJ.

A certain Greek gentleman will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow as well.

He will be turning 30.
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

The Athenian Anomaly! Beloved from Brookfield to Barneveld!

Neat!

I hope he rips Jaylen Brown's nipples off and shouts "Who is the child now, you imperious scamp."

Go Bucks.

Perfect timing. Now we can afford to give TP some small ball PF minutes over Bobby.

I'll believe it when I see him on the court in uniform.

The poop strike worked. Khris knows it's important to stay regular.

I'm guessing Khris will come off the bench at first. But if he starts, I'd shift Prince to the bench, and let him get some four minutes with Center Giannis in a small ball lineup against the Celtics.

Khris could get plenty of minutes as a small ball four as well against some of these smaller Cs lineups.

Bobby should ride the pine against Boston, as I think they're a bad matchup for him.

I'd like to see Brook and Giannis swapping time at the five, and Giannis/Prince/Khris splitting time at the four.

Last he started when he came back. ShootingtheJ in another thread made the point that it's easier for him to play right away when he's warmed up then to sit on the bench and come in cold. I'm guessing 15-20 minutes tops for awhile.

The Celtics usually alternate Porzingis and Horford on back to backs, but in this case they could easily play both. Joe Mazzulla's been unpredictable with his rotations, though they always end up making sense. Holiday's been a little bit hampered by a hip thing.

I expect Middleton to be rusty, to say the least. His return starts a process of reworking the ideal rotation and modifying roles. Fewer shots and minutes for everyone, including Giannis and Dame. Maybe Lopez is impacted the least.

And a discovery process to see exactly what the Bucks have in KM22. More like a lab project than an instant return to normalcy.

This could be the 8th time Rivers has coached a game with Antetokounmpo, Lillard and Middleton on the court together.

The loss to Atlanta put Rivers back under .500 as Bucks coach.
