PG Washington: Bobby and Khris vanquish the Wizards

Post#1 » by paulpressey25 » Sun Dec 22, 2024 3:08 am

Great bounce back game.

Good to see Middleton perform well on a B2B.

This is why having Bobby Portis at $10 million a year is a great thing. You need minute eaters who can carry you during midseason games like this.

Good win. Bobby is so good in these games without Giannis

Awesome win without the stars. Rollins caught a body at the end.

Delon Wright stocks on the other hand... :uhoh:

Ryan Rollins is not the guard we deserve, but the one we need right now.

Starter Bobby is a dominant player.

Needed to win that so glad the guys pulled it out. Just realising we only took 5 free throws tonight without the two stars.

Nice job Bobby! And good timing on Midd’s long awaited return to the B2B club.

Cut whoever and get Rollins on the AJ Green cheap 3 year deal immediately

Feels accurate. Then again Rollins was a -10 and Delon was a +21.

Lot of noise in that stat, but….

We gave him a 2nd chance after his indiscretion, we deserve the rewards.

Watching him tonight had to be bitter for the Wizards. He opened last season as their backup PG, and played well before the incident.

Delon defends, but he needs to get back to making shots.

I still have him missing a wide-open layup at the end of the third seared into my mind right now

Why? Why not use up his 2 way eligibility? Without surgery, he's at risk for another shoulder dislocation. What if it happens again? Then we're stuck with a wasted roster spot.

I really like Rollins, I posted trades to add him when he was a rookie, but the safe route is to keep him on a 2 way until the playoffs.

Dunked it with his left hand too. 3 weeks ago, he couldn't lift his left hand over his head in a game. Rehab is working.

A lot of that -10 was at the end when they cut it down at end. Wright looks so awkward out there where Rollins is so fluid I would definitely sign him to a contract soon.

Bobby and Khris supremacy win. Felt like the good ol’ Bud days for a second. Need games like this to keep Giannis and Dame fresh for the playoffs.

It's ridiculous to make this comment based on a single play in garbage time, but I'd definitely be waving a multi year deal at Rollins. This might be the perfect buy-low time for him. We don't have dudes that can make that play who are young. I'd roll the dice.
