Game 30: Bucks at Bulls - 12/28/24 - 7:00 - FDSWI - Dame is Back, Giannis is not

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri Dec 27, 2024 1:46 pm

We just easily beat the Bulls in Chicago on Monday (without Giannis and Dame) and go back Saturday night.

No idea ifeither star will be available. Dame got the bug first so he's more likely to play than Giannis but hopefully they are both a go.

GO BUCKS.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Maybe Dame and Giannis are actually sick enough they can't play, but it is extremely frustrating as a fan how they treat these games. 2 holiday home games where a lot of people went as family Xmas presents and that's the showing we got? We have a real chance to push for the 3 seed over the next weeks and they seem to not give a crap. Makes it really hard to actually care to watch this one when they don't seem to care.

Still would like to know if Dame has been ‘recovering’ in Portland the past ten days.

I'll have to make my family recipe of Lemon-Chicken soup for Dame and Freak they'll be fine by the evening.

Though I suspect the team told them "take the holidays off."
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

I remember a Dame post some days ago, saying this is the sickest he's been in like a decade if I remember correctly. If Giannis has the same thing, it's no wonder he's been out as well.
And I think about 2 or 3 of our end of bench players have it as well. Last injury report we had like 5 players out with non-covid illness.

Dame said it’s the sickest he’s been since September 13th, 1996. He was very specific. He had also just turned 6 years old 2 months prior so I’d imagine he was extremely sick to remember it so vividly.

Yes, I’m well aware. He also compared his current sickness to that sickness which I found peculiar.

But he was healthy & noncontagious enough to be on the court w/ world soccer star Dani Olmo on Thursday.

So while I'm sure he was sick as a dog (no I can't have that) at some pt, it's largely passed & I think they were taking for granted they'd beat the Nets regardless, after what we'd seen the prior 2 games.

Given their disappointing performance, I think we'll see Dame, at minimum, in this one.
