PG Toronto: Bucks Dominate

It's easy to dismiss this win since Toronto is bad. But we just lost back to back games to bad teams. At home.
Giannis with a reverse triple double 11/12/13. When they collapsed on him he found the open guy.
We shot well, rebounded well. Too many turnovers.
Great to have Dave and Marques on the call.
Overall very nice win.

How much would it cost for Marques and Dave to do every game? Find that number Wes!

Great win. We will see if the team continues to play team basketball or goes back to iso after iso.

Can we include Lisa in our trade package for Jimmy?

Would save money if they just simulcast it over the radio.

I had forgotten how nice it is to watch a stress-free Bucks game...

By far not a measuring stick game. The next 3 (Spurs H, Magic and NY A) are. Still think we should make a big move.

he needs to embrace his inner Magic Johnson and dominate as a facilitator.
Yeah, no.
It would be nice if the second were the case but we've seen our team, time and time again, miss wide open shots and bunnies. It is not sustainable.
It is more sustainable them him playing selfish 1 on 3 or 4 that got us eliminated from the playoffs every year he wasn't hurt.
When was the last time either our number 1 or number 2 player was not injured for the playoffs in our recent past?
2024 playoffs, Giannis injury
2023 playoffs, Giannis injury
2022 playoffs, Middleton injury
2021 playoffs, Championship
We've seen Giannis trying the Magic Johnson way of playing, but our team just does not have the players to hit the easy shots consistently. They might get hot once or twice, but when it comes down to it, we need someone to take charge and get buckets and stops.
Not saying Giannis should be bull headed and play 1 vs 4 but a nice balance of the two as he was in 2021 is the perfect recipe. He scored against teams that let him(Suns, Nets, Hawks) and facilitated and played more defensively against the Heat.

Remember when Scottie Barnes was the next big thing that the Raps wouldn’t even entertain trading Durant for him?
Scottie is an OK player but he’s not really elite at anything in the NBA. Kinda like his running mate RJ.

Hopefully someone won a free gruber law sponsored bucks ticket by predicting the raptors would only score 104.
Almost had that 120.

They won the title with him playing more off ball and facilitating when he had the ball.
He got so many more easy shots.

Tyler "Super" Herro and Jaime "Yes you may" Jacquez on the wings. I can hear it now.
