B2B, short handed, foul trouble blah blah

Love ya Khris, Brook, Bobby, Pat. But your time has come to an end.

Get to work Horst

This wasn't a make or break road trip but it was one we needed to prove we've steadied the ship and to see if we could carry our home wins on the road. So far it's been two pretty poor results. We have turned things around but roster and coaching issues still persist.

The ghosts of Andrew Bogut’s pubes still haunt the bucks. We just love putting in these performances every now and then.

Games like this lead to knee jerk trades.

Front office might want to be looking at next year to be a contender. This year is looking like another first round exit.

Midds didn't look like he wanted to be out there tonight.

Seemed very disinterested. I guess he isn't happy coming off the bench? Maybe he turns into "playoff Khris" in April. Doubt it.

Yeah games like this right before the deadline lead to overpaying. Goodbye '31 pick.

Khris didn't even really have a bad game, he just got caught in foul trouble (like Prince) and never really got into the offensive flow shooting wise. When we was out there, he made some great passes and reads to Giannis... He just wasn't in the game really. I'm not going to judge him by this one.

Face a good Spurs team and then Memphis/OKC back to back. Needed this one.

We need them all. Dropping games to Brooklyn, Hornets etc means that we need every game, because we know that a **** performance is always just a game away. The only consistent player we have on this team is Giannis, and Dame is coming around. You don't know what you'll get from everyone else on a given night.

Of course Brook continues to be less of a threat under the basket, and Clingan looked really comfortable next to Brook. I love Brook, but i'm struggling to see reasons to hold onto him when he just keeps getting slower and slower.

Every team has a pube game now and then. But I can't help but think that this team is on the precipice of a big move. Lots of eulogizing about Khris, especially.

I just hope we don't end up overpaying for whomever we bring in.

Now when has Horst ever overpaid?

This team is best when Giannis can expend energy on the glass and on defense. He's getting his as well as ever. He's incredibly efficient and consistent. A 39/12/5 line on 70% shooting from Giannis should be plenty to blowout the likes of Portland.

I'm not blaming Giannis for anything. The other guys need to step up in those roles. Speaking to roster construction, the problem is Giannis is the only guy on the team who can dominate the boards and defensively, especially against a team loaded with great NBA athletes. Just feels likely that against the top teams there's too much for Giannis to do if he's trying to dominate by scoring the ball.

Outrebounded by 16, nearly doubled up on the offensive boards and 10 fewer FT attempts is too much to overcome.

Increasingly, there are games where Brook and Khris are so overmatched physically, their savvy and skill just isn't enough. Sad to see.

Blazers have won 5 of the last 6, Spurs have lost 7 of the last 9. A fine wavering line between good and bad.

The bucks are 0-5 on the year against the Nets and Blazers who have a combined 32-62 record.
