PG Hawks: One Good Quarter

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Feb 8, 2025 2:52 am

Cold shooting 3/4 of the game, some bonehead plays. Loss. Kuzma decent with no practices. 12/7/1. Back home Sunday. Heal up Giannis.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The Milwaukee Bucks are 44-42 under head coach Doc Rivers. Jon Horst hired the wrong coach and held onto players for too long.

It was reported that Horst wanted Atkinson, and that ownership wanted Doc.

Our 3rd quarters are consistently horrendous. It's our lowest averaging quarter for the season (no surprises there), but we continue to come out flat in virtually every game after half time and quickly lose any lead we may have at the half.

It's a very real problem that needs addressing.

I don’t have any confidence in us beating anyone on the road anymore. We all rip Trae Young but he’s clearly more impactful than Dame. Is what it is

We know that wasn’t a Horst pick but you’re right about holding onto players too long. Horst can’t draft or evaluate talent for **** though, they both have to go. I’m not going to be surprised when both GA and Dame ask out this summer

That's the last card to play - fire Doc and let the Prunt GOAT run the team.

I don't think it's the cure-all, but we're passed the deadline so these are the players we have, & it's not good enough.

He's not an effective motivator, is a big excuse maker, rides his guys way too long, doesn't match-up, the offense bogs down into iso half the time, & the defense isn't custom to the players out on the court.

As I've said before, Doc should give his entire salary to charity. He's narrowly over .500 for a team who was 32-14 before he came aboard and had championship aspirations. This is his legacy & it looks like he'll go down a failure.

Exhibit A on why so many of us said you needed to break up the Bobby/Brook front court by trading one of them. Doc just can't help himself man...

That’s pretty funny. Prunty should probably be the coach

AJax makes Ben Simmons look like a chucker. My God man, shoot the **** ball. I’ve never seen a more passive offensively inept player on the Bucks.

He's more impactful because he is not in Milwaukee. Switch the two and Trae isn't getting any calls and Dame is an MVP caliber player. Thankfully Giannis stuck around with this BS. Dame got almost no calls in the second half and the few times when they actually called a foul it should have been a continuation play.

Trae in Milwaukee would look like Brandon Jennings sophomore year.

A February game without our best player at the end of a long road trip. Some of these reactions are just a little over the top.

Glad we are ripping on Doc. He sucks.

Brook Lopez is playing the most minutes per game since 2015-16 when he was 27. He ain't making it to the playoffs.

Dame MVP caliber? He was like the 6th best player on the floor tonight. LOL
