Game 63: Cavs at Bucks - 3/9/25 - 7:00 - ESPN/FDSWI

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Mar 9, 2025 5:26 am

Tough stretch begins with the red-hot Cavs, going for their 14th straight win. Our guys played heavy minutes Saturday but I hope we don't punt this one. We could use Trent but no word on his availability.

We're 0-3 against the Cavs:

12/2 - 114-113 (road)
12/4 - 115-114 (home, no Giannis)
12/20 - 124-101 (road, no Dame)

As usual please limit the posts in this thread to this game only. Thanks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Going to be tough. Would be good to bounce back and get a win here

This game feels like we’ll need an unsung hero to really step up and have a huge game. We played them tough both times in Cleveland and fell short, hopefully HCA will be the difference.

Could be fun. Or ugly. Hopefully the former.

I have a hard time seeing us get a win. They’re not unbeatable but they’re damn close during this regular season. Plus they matchup really well against us. We needed that win last night

Sit Giannis and Dame punt this one. I'd rather be a healthy 5/6 seed than a banged up 3/4. The schedule is brutal from here, not a single 2 days rest and 3 b2bs. Just forfeit this game and send a care package to the Hawks for beating Indy twice.

Battles of the Cavs and the Mav-Nots.

just grabbed a ticket in 108, row 1 for 60 dollars plus fees. Came out to 94. Great deal no matter who plays.

However... this ticket is not in the first row of the section. Granted, i knew courtside seats always come first, i just thought this would be the first row behind courtside. But apparently they put three rows in front of "row 1" in this section. I bought on the app so i couldn't see that until i opened ticketmaster on the computer. Annoying. Still a good deal, not quite the pop i had in mind.

Probably the last B2B I’d agree with playing Dame/Giannis in. Rest or not, gotta see how the new look roster looks against our likely 2nd round opponent.

Anyone advocating to punt on a nationally televised game vs the best team in the conference should be banned for a week to think about how their thoughts and actions are ruining the league. Looking forward to this one.

IMO the Cavs are our toughest match up. So I'm glad we're playing everyone. I don't necessarily expect a win but think we could do it. If we win I'll be happy. If we lose I won't be mad.

We can afford to sit these if we win the games we're meant to win like yesterday. When we lose those it puts us in a position where we have to try winning them all.
