Game 64: Bucks at Pacers - 3/11/25 - 6:30 - TNT

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Mar 10, 2025 1:33 pm

The Bucks try to bounce back with a win over Indy. We are 1/2 game ahead of them. The Bucks have won the first 2 games in the series. The 4th and final game is Saturday in Milwaukee.

11/22 - 129-117 in Milwaukee
12/31 - 120-112 in Indy

Pacers will be on a B2B, they are in Chicago Monday night. Haliburton has missed the last 2 games with a hip injury and is questionable for the Bulls game.

As usual please keep the posts in this thread on this game only. Thanks!

Two biggest games of the season between this and Saturday. Win both and you pretty much have a stranglehold on the 4-seed. We're 2-0 vs. Detroit as well but their schedule is pretty brutal to end the season (us x2, Knicks, OKC, Memphis, Cleveland). Would just need to get one of those games for the tie-breaker and it may end up not mattering at all.

No, those days in the NBA are long gone. We're so accustomed to MD's near 100% accuracy we think that hey, maybe this is a back-to-back-to-back. But no, the game is Tuesday the 11th.

And we don't say it enough -- thanks, MD, for doing such a great job keeping us all informed that the occasional mistake only reminds us how good you are at this.

It's not insane to think that teams would sometimes play 3 games in 3 nights in the NBA.

What's insane is that teams in the NBA used to play 3 games in 3 nights and nobody whined or cried about it or talked about load managing.

And what's interesting is there seemed to be less injuries in those days. And the quality of play/effort was significantly better back then as well. And the game was extremely more physical back then. And medical/sports science has made significant strides in the past 30/35 years.

It's all very interesting.....lol.

Nothing like the Pacers swiss cheese defense to make us feel good about ourselves again

Pacers are gonna bring it. Something young teams are good at is coming out hard. We need to match the energy but our hatred of them should help with that.

Feel we are better against the Pacers with Porter and Kuz. My bad eye sight says that we are playing fast than with Midds.

I definitely think the deadline trades make us match up better with either of the potential 1st round opponents (Pacers, Pistons). Problem is that really should have never been the goal. .

Need a bounce back win in a major way. Losing two straight at home is no bueno.

Beginning of the year, I would have hated those 2 loses. But I have no disillusions this team isn't anything more than a 3-6 seed team. They played hard those 2 games but played 2 teams that just started out super hot and got, IMHO, a very nice whistle. I'm not too upset by those loses but we need to go 3-0 in a week like this when things are in our favor.
