Game 65: Lakers at Bucks - 3/13/25 - 6:30 - TNT

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Wed Mar 12, 2025 2:54 pm

Bucks try to get back in the win column against the LeBron-less Lakers, who have lost 2 straight. This is certainly a very winnable game but a loss wouldn't surprise me either.

If I recall, BA said last night he and Reggie (****) would be doing this game.

As usual, please keep the posts in this thread on this game only. Thanks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Would be nice to have a bounce-back game from Kuzma.

Trent needs to be in the closing lineup and the past few months have only strengthened that. I get that AJ is still everyone's favorite try-hard lunch pail dude, but he's been absolutely brutal these past few weeks, and the dream of him being a starter/closing lineup guy is drifting further into fantasy with each playoff level opponent he gets neutralized by. Too limited on offense and not versatile enough on defense to make up for it.

Two Reggie games in a row. We've angered the basketball gods.

Vincent Vango (sp?) had the right idea.

Trent is the guy that should be starting and closing, although I did like Prince's effort last night in a tight game. I'm just hoping Kuzma can at least become the "dirty work" guy who can get some putbacks, cuts, open shots when the Bucks will be forced to go small.

The Lake Show against the Lake Show I call the Bucks the Lake Show because their home (Milwaukee) is on a lake feel free to use, no big deal

Don’t disagree. This has been Dairy’s first year of significant NBA minutes and I think he has hit a bit of a wall physically. The reps have been good for him but we’ve got to start winning games too. I hope we don’t abandon him entirely but getting him back to the 20th min might be the right sweet spot for now.

At least this won't start with, "The House that Reggie built".

For those at the game I expect a nice tribute to Junior. They might show some on TNT, they talked a little about him last night. I also expect FanDuel will have a nice piece on him Saturday night.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think I read somewhere the other day that the Lakers are actually better this year (by a smidge) with Lebron off the court?

Would be good to get a win here. Energy and effort lads.

This could be a win or a loss. Who the hell knows at this point?

This would be a truly pathetic loss with no LeBron, no front court talent, at home and end of season when you need wins.

Lakers are somehow 40-23 yet have a worse net-rating than us.
