Game 66: Pacers at Bucks - 3/15/25 - 7:00 - FDSWI

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri Mar 14, 2025 3:15 pm

Need to make up for the debacle earlier in the week. Tie breaker is at stake.

First of a B2B (OKC on Sunday). There's no doubt everyone plays this one. We may punt OKC with a west coast road trip upcoming.

Like to see Sims continue to progress. KPJ continue to play well. Trent to make shots. Green to get back on track.

As usual, please keep the posts in this thread on this game only. Thanks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Not sure I've ever wanted to win a regular season game more than this one.

Must destroy
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

Imagine 20 years ago saying you’d punt a game against a title favorite because of a west coast trip? Not saying you’re wrong but damn the league has played us all. We actually are ok, or even worse, prefer to punt games in the name of safety.

Anyways must win vs Indy

Yeah, we need to destroy these clowns for the sake of the board vibes. No excuses.

I hope we don't punt. And we have been playing our guys in B2B. But with the season winding down the OKC game would seem like one to punt IF you want to give Giannis and'/or Dame a break. On the flip side we don't have another B2B until April 8/9 so maybe we go full bore Sunday night. Getting to the playoffs with Giannis healthy is all that matters.

It's a must-win. The Bucks are undefeated (probably around 5-0) when I declare a game is a must-win ahead of time. I thought it before the match against Cleveland, to get over the hump finally, but I didn't post it, so that's probably where I went wrong.

Looking forward to this one. I hope the crowd is rowdy and ready to go. We need to send a message to those **** goons.

And just a side note...is there an uglier team in the nba than Indy? Just every rotation player got something jacked up going on w their face

The past hasn’t shown us fans care way more about this matchup and “rivalry” than the players do. Would be shocked if we didn’t lay an egg here.

Glad we’re all on the same page. If we don’t come out and try to severely embarrass these clowns then this team has no pride.

Losing this one would be even worse than this past December when we lost at Fiserv to the 22-44 Brooklyn Nets.

Then followed that up a week later by losing at Fiserv to the 22-44 Brooklyn Nets.

Indy will be on a B2B, although they're playing the Philly G League team tonight.

At this point I will consider it a pretty big win if we simply just have Giannis healthy for an entire playoff series, even if we ended up losing the series.

Even me, Mr pessimistic himself. Thinks we would have at least a puncher's chance against anyone in the east with a healthy Giannis. I also still like the Buck's potential on paper. If they can put it all together at some point between now and Game 1 of the playoffs, the Bucks have at least the potential to be dangerous. Maybe we pull a 2023 Miami Heat and get it together at the last second right before the playoffs begin. Not expecting that to happen, but I think on paper we have the potential. It's a possibility if we have a healthy Giannis of course.

It’s really quite amusing how much you like to refer to yourself. Puncher’s chance - lol.

Punting games is smart, nearly every fan would choose it over possibility of injuries to stars in the playoffs. It's the leagues fault for refusing to shorten the season a couple games to avoid these scenarios.
