Game 68: Bucks at Warriors - 3/18/25 - 9:00 - NBATV/FDSWI

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Mar 17, 2025 2:44 pm

Bucks kick off their 5 game trip in the Bay area. Warriors will be on a B2Bm they face Denver Monday night. We lost to the Warriors last month, Giannis was out.

As usual, please keep the posts in this thread on this game. Thanks.

Currently hallucinating a scenario where Drayton (sp?) Greene in a heel turn cracks Steph with a two-piece to the dome and mimes the execrable night-night gesture while the 3-pee king lies in blunt force-initiated slumber. Dreams are free, mfer!

Look, I understand he's already a heel per say, but walk with me, comrades.

Despite the schedule on paper, there's three opponents we should beat on this trip (PHX, SAC, LA without Lebron). I mean, at least that's what a home-court playoff team should do. We all know a 1-4 stretch is probably more likely though.

It's a good we happen to have RAW IS JERICHO

Warriors have been on a tear since getting Jimmy Butler. They're currently on a 7-game winning streak. This is not a good matchup for us and we're on the road.

Let's hope the Denver/GS game tonight goes to like triple OT?

I miss the days when Jimmy Butler's hair color was indicative, like the Gas Company Flame. Those were the days.

Doc Rivers being by far the worst coach on our bench despite being the head coach is the most Doc Rivers thing ever.

Doc Rivers is elite at selling snake oil.

Jimmy should be allowed to wear a hypercolor jersey that reflects a part of the spectrum based on his emotions, a dynamic indicator of mind state. I know E. Lon (sp?) Must is a highly-charged topic but maybe he could design something that works or at least "borrow" the idea from existing technology, Muster Mist do you read the real general manager web site and are you intrigued?

At what point does Doc understand that he can't start Prince at SG? There are 15 games available till the playoffs to create the right chemistry. It's about time Bucks try something different.

Dame (36)/Porter (12)
Green (20)/Trent (20)/Porter (8)
Kuzma (32)/Prince (12)/Trent (4)
Giannis (36)/Prince (12)
Brook (32)/Sims (16)

I'm not a huge Green fan, but you have to try it. I don't like him forcing shots to lead the 2nd unit. I think he is better equiped for the open 3s that he will get with Dame/Giannis gravity in the starting lineup. On top he looks like the better guard defender to pair with Lillard.

The guy wasted over 40 games on a guy who is not an offensive threat anywhere. So maybe he does it w/ Prince until we get KO'ed in the playoffs?

Doc wastes a ton of sensible experiment time. He used the entire preseason to play vets w/ vets or extreme youth. And ignored his youngish role guys were dependent on the vets, + vice versa. Contributed to the slow start.

BTW, I favor Rollins in this argument ATM. Green's got to demonstrate he's out of the offensive funk, if he's out of it on d, first. While I agree w/ what you're saying in theory, he is missing an abnormal amount of open j's.

So Prince on Steph with Brook playing drop defence? What could go wrong.

No one can really guard Steph. And Prince has actually played some good defense lately.

There's definitely some logic to sticking a bigger, lengthier defender on Steph, and even more so now that he doesn't have quite the same burst that he used to. Fair to wonder if Prince is the right guy though. I'd stick Kuzma on him every chance I get. Let Prince guard Jimmy.

Let Giannis take Jimmy and eat his soul like he always does. Length and strength on Jimmy and he will give up the ball. He'd push Kuz around.

If you look at the actual games though during this streak every single one the other team has been missing their best, 2nd best or both player(s) They are still taking care of business but they haven't played anyone at full strength other than Pistons and Kings post Fox.

Warriors were ice cold last night and lost to the Nuggets without Jokic and Murray. I'm sure they'll be on fire tonight.

Warriors opened as a 3.5 point favorite and now the Bucks are 3.5 point favorites. I don't see that there are any injuries, I guess the Warriors are expected to sit guys ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
