PG Kings - Good Second Half, Bucks Win

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Mar 23, 2025 4:20 am

Took awhile to get going. Green and Trent finally hit a couple. KPJ was very good. Kuz double double. Giannis was Giannis. Nice game by Brook.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Don't think we win if that second unit doesn't keep us afloat in the second or fourth quarters. Hit some timely threes then held on. Ugly but it's a win.

Defense gives you a chance to win on the road, and the Bucks locked the Kings down late. Beautiful ball movement too.

If Dame sits again please, start KPJ.

Imagine banging on that cowbell for almost 3 hours all for nothing.

Crazy that we ended up shooting 42% on threes after big time struggles. A lot of good looks on threes with Giannis at center. Good comeback victory on the road. Happy birthday TP.

The Bucks have to get better cutting when Giannis gets double and zoned off when he has the ball on the wing.

Dame should probably sit more since we're going for seeding. Agree, start KPJ. When Dame come back, let him just be a bench gunner. Defense is easier when our wings guard wings instead of PGs.

The cowbell has replaced DeRozan's wife screaming under the basket for 48 straight minutes.

Only watched the 2nd half tonight but great games from Giannis, Brook, & KPJ. Getting a win in Sacramento with no Dame is solid. Atleast the Bucks won tonight.

I've been harsh on Kuzma, but I'll take 14&14 from him any night

Doc certainly deserves some criticism, but he also has guided the team to an 8-4 record without Dame. Not many teams win 2/3s of their games with a $48.7 player missing.

I feel like the main podcasters haven't really mentioned KPJ's impact but at some point its unavoidable

Rest of the schedule is favorable with only 5 of remaining 11 against .500+ teams with 2 being against the Pistons. (Though for some irrational reasons I could see KD/Bud getting up to play us while competing just to stay alive for the 9/10th seed). Kick the suns ass, rest Giannis against Den (unless Jokic sits) play him against the Knicks and hopefully rest against the Pelicans with Dame getting us those wins.

This was one of the really frustrating things to watch tonight. Giannis had 2-3 guys on him all night. There's always an open man and we struggled to find that open man time and again (and in the first half when we did we'd miss the open bunny).

We shouldn't have to struggle so much to get guys easy shots in that situation.
