Game 75: Suns at Bucks - 4/1/25 - 6:30 - TNT/FDSWI

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Mar 31, 2025 4:10 pm

We discussed/debated Bud ad nauseam in the game thread when we played them last week and again in the team thread. No need to rehash all that in yet another thread.

Since we faced them last week the Suns have lost 3 straight by 30, 15 and 38 points. The 30 and 38 point losses were at home. And KD was injured last night and helped to the locker room. They are a worse dumpster fire than we are. And that's saying something. At least we got a title, all they got was a 2-0 blown lead in the Finals.

I'd like to see KPJ have another good game.

As usual please keep all discussion in this thread on this game specifically. Debate Doc/Bud in the team thread. Thanks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Just when you think the worst loss of the season is behind us, this Suns team without KD heads to town. This would be a truly special one.

I may be in the minority here, but I think we need to fight for the fifth seed. Our schedule is pretty damn easy the rest of the way and we control our own destiny playing the Pistons 2x. 7-1 seems laughable based on recent performance but I think it is easily attainable. Let Giannis fight like hell against the Pacers.

(Is there any hope Dame is back by R2? Feel this is an injury that no one really can put a timestamp on?)

I was thinking that before getting crushed last night. No reason to think this team can win down the stretch. Unfortunately.

Although, that was straight grief and shock. This is now sadness, but also processed to the point of anger.

Honestly would rather fall to 7, if possible, to get that last series against Boston with Giannis before this all implodes.

Just win this and make 7th seed mostly out of reach and then shut it down until Bobby can get burn for the last 4 games.

Went from an easy 1 seed not long ago to fighting for a 5th seed. Nice

Yeah, I was thinking that season where Skiles quit, BJ3 wanted out, Monta Ellis didn't elevate us (while Steph took career to another level) and knew he was leaving, the Tobias for Redick trade and the Heat swept us fairly easily. I remember walking out of Game 4 depressed wondering if I will ever see a legit good Bucks team again.

My vibe now is somewhat checked out and feel like the window is closed. I don’t know if I have another rebuild in me, especially as I find myself not loving the NBA game as much as I did years ago. This has been the least invested I have been since those early 90s Dunleavy pre Big Dog teams.

That would be the most insane plot twist in NBA history if the Bucks fell down into the play-in and ended up being the #7 seed playing Boston.

But then Giannis goes nuclear and the Bucks knock the Celtics out in round 1.

Would obviously never actually happen, but it would be a pretty neat plot twist....lol.

Need the crowd to give Bud his flowers and make Doc uncomfortable the entire game. Or just sit down and look at their phones all game. Either or.
