Bucks News, Transactions and Trade Ideas - 2025 Off-season

With the other thread about maxed out and the off-season starting up soon we'll start a new thread.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Without him, ticket sales will plummet

@PP RE: ticket sales

you need to do the math. a sixth seed will cost probably $100-125m each of the next two years over them trading Giannis and not resigning our FA. you can't make Jan much up in ticket sales and jerseys on a non-contending team. tickets sales will be pretty much the same with high turn outs for curry and James and then 10k people on a Tuesday night in January. (not to mention next year's STH already paid)

On the bright side NO could join us in the lottery and then we would at least get a lotto pick next year.

Could also force Doc to retire. Is he really going to stick around to coach the Kuzma led tank...

I feel bad for Dame, but from our perspective I'll try and look on the bright side that this could prompt us to do what we probably should have done anyway if we're being pragmatic. They just have less ammo for a rebuild now & knowing these boobs they probably won't rip the band-aid.

I'm truly scared of what they will do. If we had KAT or Embiid next year I would not be shocked.

I'm not a front runner and remember the dark days pre Giannis. Whatever roster we trot out there I'll root for them. But if Doc is back I will absolutely not attend any games. And that sucks because live basketball is great and I'm 15-20 minutes from the arena.

I hope Marques doesn't give up. A full season of Novak would be a disaster.

We’ll be fine. We’re going to be able to bring back KPJ on a decently small deal.

Brook is a great regular season minutes eater but if he wants more than a Horford 2/$19.5 million deal he can walk and we bring back Sims.

We will bring back Brook for no more than 2/$18 and he will be fine. Help some regular season wins.

Unless we trade Giannis. Then he’s leaving for a contender on a taxpayer MLE

Hey maybe Dame will do the Bucks a solid and just retire. Have Haslem give him a wink wink deal with an understanding he'll make good on the money lost.

Yep, I think I’m done with the franchise if they keep him. Of course I already said I was done watching if Doc was still coaching come playoff time so probably will not stick.

A medical retirement allows him to get all his money and we get cap relief. We need GAD to go over all those details again.

Maybe Dame won't pick up his option after next season because he'd rather give it 1 last go w/ another contender, & a city he enjoyed more, on an MLE or less. Otherwise at trade deadline after next the Bucks could use his huge expiring for someone else's apron relief. Replenish picks that way.

idk I don't see Dame wanting to go out like this. I could see him coming back and then buyout in year two for a contender when healthy.

Brother I don’t care who or why or what, if they owed me 64 million a year I would play without legs if necessary
