If someone can post definitively what money we have left to spend that would be great. MLE, TPE, etc.

We'd kill to have Matt LaFleuer coach the Bucks.imo

This doc is Frank Madden's so it is probably right about the numbers at this point.

Correct, but we'd gain the room exception. I don't know if we had to drop cap holds for some of our guys though. If so, then we already used the room exception on them. I doubt it though, they had low cap holds.

We probably used part of the room exception on KPJ? I don't know how else we execute that contract?

If we used cap space to sign Turner (or anyone else), which I think is a pretty safe assumption at this point, we immediately lost access to the Bi-Annual Exception and the Mid-Level Exception. In that case, the only way we can give KPJ the number we reportedly are giving him is via (part of) the ($8.791M) Room Exception. Unless I'm missing something and we somehow had his Early Bird Rights, but I don't see how that's possible.

That leaves us with just the remainder of the Room Exception, Bird rights, and minimums.

Keeping an eye on the Kings. Not only are they a mess just generally, but they have like 12 guys 1-3. Would be interested if we could get Keegan Murray cheap somehow.

It's confirmed 5.

Waive Livingston, Sign Exum, Sign Rollins and revisit this all in December when we can trade players again.

Hey guys, Magic fan here. I see that you guys have signed Harris. I’m going to let you know that you are going to love his defense and his personality (very chill person), however he is very timid on offense. He was available for 48 games and he had 22 games where he had 0 points. Let me remind you had bad that is, Magic was the worst 3 point shooting team in the NBA, he has a career average of 38.8% in Orlando and still chose not to shoot. So, I hope he is better for you. Oh, he was very injury prone with us, in 4 years 61 games was the most he played in a season for us, so I hope you guys have better injury luck.

I know that sounds negative but he will do wonders for your defense. All the best, please don’t beat us in the playoffs. Enjoy your upcoming season.

Don't like the sound of that. Hopefully just procedural? I thought was well worth keeping around. Not sure how he will have a better shot at real minutes elsewhere either?

Jim Owczarski @jimowczarski.bsky.social‬

* Finally, roster-wise I mean.

Even with this flurry of activity, the #Bucks will NOT be a luxury tax paying team this year.

So Bucks are self capping their salary at
$187,895,000. There about 14 mil under. hopefully moving Kuzma too

I'm not sure these moves make us a legitimate contender, though adding Turner is a set up from Brook.

But what this does do is set us up for the 2026 offseason where we have multiple firsts to move to add a third piece to fit next to Giannis and Turner, thereby giving us another championship window.

I'd prefer to have kept Rollins. We'll see what happens

Feels like we could use a gunner at guard. Bonus points if he can do some secondary ball handling.

Jim O seems to be more in tuned with the FO than Nehm, so hopefully we do somehow move on from Kuz and get some more pieces.

Can probably get a toddler for the rookie minimum.

We'll have to do something one way or another. Can't have KPJ as your only ball handling guard on the roster.

Sinking in now that we've done far too much to get Myles Turner. ****, yesterday was such a good start.
