Could be something but he's already missed half their games. It's the same illness he had last year when he missed 40 games. But maybe it's a ruse.

Zinger has swelling around his heart, a pretty serious condition. Same thing he dealt with last year.

Yeah but you could trade an injured Thanasis to someone’s last roster spot and no one would blink.

If anything, I think it just means that we should find a way to include Turner in any Hawks trade.

If I'm Giannis, as long as Doc is the coach I'm questioning my future here. Time to get Doc out and find literally anyone else who has some sort of BBIQ. Hell, give it to Rondo at this point I don't care.

I doubt Giannis is a good judge of coaching ability.

Agreed. Atlanta is a bit of a clown show, at least if they want to be relevant.

I still value a Spurs and then Houston package more.

Would be weird to keep Rondo and fire doc.

But idk, this really seems like a backup QB type thing. Guy has only been retired for 18 months, only has had this gig for a few months and IIRC has had a small negative locker room reputation. What has he really done that makes you think he is HC material? As much crap as Doc gets, he does at least seem respected and my buddy who sat courtside last week was impressed by how much coaching Doc actually did in-game discussing did with the young players (may go back to that Doc might actually be a better young team coach than the star studded teams he has coached). Im not saying this to act like Doc is doing a good job, I just question a guy like Rondo can come in and be a positive-value coach.
