non-basketball related thoughts from the Wiz game

Bash me if you want, but three quarters were more than enough torture. Anyway, the rundown:

* Actually a decent-sized crowd for such a crappy team.

* Bucks were booed already in the first quarter and throughout the rest of the night.

* Kohl showed no signs of life. :eek2:

* Streetlife --- blah, but at least they played a Marley song.

* I honestly don't understand why they need 3 MC's, but Andrea Williams talks less, so that's a plus.

* Mo Williams Show was with CV and it was pretty lame.

* Finally had the sumo guys with Bango beating them up, missed that gig!

* Halftime show was some lame free throw/lay-up contest, I went to get food.

* Near the end of the half Mo was just sitting on the bench with his head down and Bell went up and talked to him, obviously the motivational speech did nothing for either player.

* Highlight of the night was a girl walking on the baseline and a ball hit her and spilled her drink everywhere.

I wish I knew why they have the new girl I can't understand....it seems like she takes a shot of helium before she gets on the microphone....

We brought that up in the game thread. We all said it was the highlight of the night.

Also forgot to note that at the beginning of every game they have like 15 women come out and shoot layups before the Bucks come out. "Layup Ladies" or something? I mean...why?

the Bulls have some pretty hot dancers too... but you never really want to trade within the division. Next thing we know it the Bulls are 50-32 and Energee is the talk of the league.

We keep Lindsey tho... love her.

The Layup Ladies should be shooting Fugly FreeThrows instead.

Energy was looking good tonight.

Some random guy took a thunder stick and wacked Bango over the head a couple times. It was hilarious. Bango looked dumbfounded.

Also the chic MC (not Andrea but I believe a Hoop Troop member) made mention of the free cheeseburger deal if the Bucks win and score more than 100 points. Really? Are you watching the game? We have no hope of scoring 80 points much less 100. And the Wizards literally would have had to walk off the court for us to even have a glimpse of hope winning the game. Watch the actual game and don't even mention free cheeseburgers if we win. It is totally not possible.
My props to the beer spillage - chic had no clue the ball was heading her way and it was priceless!! 1000% better than a half time show with cheerleaders!

They have had the free MCD burger deal for awhile. Another lame promotion.
