While I hate Starbury, something to the effect of this would rid the bucks of a lot of problems and clean the slate in 2 years:

Trade 1:
Bucks trade:
Dan Gadzuric
Michael Redd
Bobby Simmons

Knicks trade:
Renaldo Balkman
David Lee
Jerome James
Stephon Marbury
Fred Jones
Next available 1st round pick

Why for the bucks:
Trade all of their problem contracts for contracts no longer than 2 years and some young talent.

Trade 2:

Bucks trade:
Mo Williams
Jerome James and filler

Miami trades:
Ricky Davis (expiring)
Daequan Cook
Dorell Wright
lottery protected first

Bucks will have then rid themselves of all their problem contracts and will only be stuck with marbury's contract for another year, which could be a valuable expiring to somebody. If anything, this team would be more fun to watch.

This guy thinks the Heat are going to trade Cook, Wright AND a 1st..

Ok - maybe went a little bit too far with the heat trade. The point of this would be to get rid of all of the bucks bad contracts, save for Marbury who would be gone in a year anyways

But, you just can't have Steph coming to Milwaukee and corrupting Yi...

I was also thinking about a blow-em-up trade with New York (and Sacto), the goal being to get New York's 1st next year, a good young hustle player (Balkman or Lee), and cap space in a couple of years:

Bucks trade: Redd, CV, Simmons, Gadz
Bucks get: Lee, Starbury, M Rose, 1st

Knicks trade: Starbury, Lee, Balkman, F Jones, M Rose, 1st
Knicks get: Redd, Artest, Simmons, Gadz

Kings trade: Artest
Kings get: CV, Balkman, F Jones

New York gets the two best players in the deal while giving up some young talent and a pick - a win now trade I could see Isiah doing to save his job. Getting CV and Balkman (plus the expiring contract of Fred Jones) is good value for Artest, who will likely be leaving at the end of the year anyway (he's said as much). For us, we get rid of Simmons/Gadz, pick up David Lee, and get the Knicks pick (likely a high lottery pick). Starbury and Rose expire at the end of next year, so we could use them as trade bait or just buy 'em out and bide our time.
