check out my new monster trade

Post#1 » by Redbeardwirc0830 » Tue Jan 8, 2008 6:58 am

So I think I may have actually figured out a trade that works for all four teams and works in the espn trade checker http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=1034~1710~3017~1022~2512~2792~2178~2381~2435~2456~788~981~110~3197~193~933&teams=13~13~4~14~4~13~14~13~15~13~13~15~4~15~15~15&te=&cash=

All four teams benefit in their own way and the trade should make sense for all of their futures.

Miami
out:
jason williams
ricky davis
in:
mo williams
bobby simmons

why for heat: The heat get a young point guard to play next to wade and Mo is also another great scorer for the heat. Bobby simmons is a veteran that has three years left on his deal (all the heat pretty much have three years). And his expiring will be more useful in the summer of Dwayne's FA. besides when he gets going he can shoot the ball and does play sometimes above average defense.

Chicago
out:
andres nocioni
joe smith
ben gordon
2008 & 2009 1st round picks
in:
david noel
awvee storey
kobe bryant

why for bulls: i think this one is obvious. they bascially swap noc and gordo for kobe and throw in two 1st round picks (should be later on in 1st round) the other two guys are there for salary.

Los Angeles
out:
kobe bryant
kwame brown
javaris crittenton
in:
ben gordon
andres nocioni
charlie villanueva
charlie bell
joe smith
dan gadzuric
chi 2008 1st round pick

why for lakers: this is the time to cut bait with Kobe. they actually get a pretty good return for kobe and will have a good core to work with. Bynum, villanueva odom gordon and farmar is a good young starting 5. plus this helps give them a solid veteran bench plus another draft pick (should be high this year).

Milwaukee
out:
dan gadzuric
bobby simmons
charlie bell
awvee story
david noel
mo williams
charlie villanueva
in:
javaris crittenton
kawame brown
viktor khryapa
jason williams
ricky davis
chi 2009 1st round pick

why for bucks: bucks clean house. they keep around the three main pieces in the core (redd, bogut and yi) add crittenton and an extra pick. We also get expiring veterans kwame, j-will and ricky davis.

pg jason williams/ javaris crittenton/ramon sessions
sg michael redd/ricky davis/royal ivey
sf desmond mason/ricky davis
pf yi jianlian/viktor khryapa/michale ruffin
c andrew bogut/kwame brown/jake voshkul

just wait til ersan comes back

three years championship

No way the Lakers would do that.

That's still terrible for the Lakers.

Rickey has been bad news everywhere he's gone. Miami is finding that out this year. he was expected to be a starter, but his talents don't blend in with anybody's. I'm not saying rick y doesn't have talent. he does. But he develops zero chemistry with his team mates. there's a reason the Cavs, celtics and twolves were eager to part ways with him.

I cannot stand Rickey Davis. I mean come on who shoots off the opponent's basket just to get a rebound for his triple double? what a scrub.

I would LOVE dumping simmons deal, and if the bucks feel they need to retool the supporting cast around redd/Yi/Bogut, this trade would allow them to do that.

Tank this year or whatever, look for defenders/smart players to surround our "big three" with and we can get the bucks pointed in the right direction.

I'm a little torn because I like mo's offensive game for the most part, and I liked the old bobby, but I think that trade with the heat would be very beneficial, especially if a new gm is coming in.

The kobe to the bulls part can just be knocked out though cause thats not happening.

My favorite Redd trade is this.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/t ... &te=&cash=

I do think that Utah could give us a little something more for absorbing Harpring's deal. Maybe a protected first.

Ronnie Brewer
Morris Almond
Sheldon Williams
Protected 1st

Would be a good haul for Redd.

Then we'd have to find a Gadz/CV for exprings deal, and I think it may be possible to the Lakers, the Magic, or potentially the Nets.

We'd run with...

Mo
Brewer
Simmons
Yi
Bogut

Bell
Harpring
Sheldon Williams
Ivey
Voskuhl

IR: Des

D-League: Sessions, Almond

Cut: Noel
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Los Angeles
out:
kobe bryant

javaris crittenton

andres nocioni
charlie villanueva
charlie bell
joe smith
dan gadzuric
chi 2008 1st round pick

LOL at that. trade Kobe and our 1st round for another 1st round..then drop half our roster to make room for Joe Smith, Charlie Bell, Gadzuric, etc. Maybe if we throw in odom we can get Chris Quinn and Daequon Cook

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
